TheBebop29: The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is a treat for the luxury lover! The Casita suites are perfect combination of privacy and luxury, complete with room service, bellman service, mood lighting, robes, slippers, and motion lights under the bed for the late night bathroom breaks! The valets are so kind and Sherrill at the front desk was so patient and helpful to me, providing champagne tokens and maps to guide me around the property. The Casita suites come with dinnerware and you can control the tv with your cell phone. There was a convenient 1/2 bath downstairs and a dining area separate from the living space. There's a spacious closet upstairs and downstairs with extra bedding for guests to use the sofa bed if needed. The barn door entrance to the master bathroom I loved, with huge LED mirror and walk in shower with body wash, shampoo and conditioner ready to use. There's toiletries ready, from mouthwash to shower caps to q tips and of course a hair dryer. Slippers accompany the robes and are available to buy if you like. There's even an automatic ice maker just add water! With 2 pools, restaurants, tennis and basketball courts all on the property There's no reason to leave, and lots of gorgeous photo ops for influencers alike!
Jeff Hammonds: Simply a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Been here twice in 2024 so far and every stay was fantastic. All the remodeling is done…the bar, restaurant and pool area is simply outstanding. If you truly want a nice weekend getaway to relax and unwind the Grand Hyatt in Tampa Bay is the place to go! The view from the 14th floor ballroom/balcony overlooking the Bay at sunrise and sunset is just stunning!Noteworthy details: Everything about this hotel is amazing!

ILuvGood VIBES: . The room does not have a microwave, just a fridge and there is no convenience area within for items like snacks,toothbrush, feminine products etc.
Robert Koehler: My wife and I spent a night at Le Meridien for our anniversary. We stay at hotels fairly often, and Le Meridien is definitely a step above other hotels. Seamless, quick checkin/checkout. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We booked a deluxe corner king room, which was beautifully furnished and very clean. It was fun walking around and seeing the old courtroom and judicial chambers. We had dinner and breakfast at Sal Rosa and both were excellent. Although to be honest I’d recommend skipping the “gelato” which really just looked and tasted like ice cream. One of the highlights of our stay was the gorgeous heated pool, which we had all to ourselves. My one complaint is that there were no bathrobes, even though the website said the room came with them. Overall, an amazing hotel and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something unique.

Stephen Lafferty: We held a very important event at the hotel and I can't praise them enough. I grew up as the child of a hotel manager, literally living in 4 & 5 star hotels and resorts, so, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Heather and the events staff were outstanding and I give the chef an A+. The braised short ribs fell apart with a fork, potatoes and asparagus were perfect and I don't know how to describe the desert other than a culinary piece of art with a cheesecake inside a chocolate shell. The spaces are truly unique, being converted from the old federal courthouse.

Jenni G.: I was only here for a class, but the place is very clean!!! The conference room was clean and well kept, and the restroom was immaculate. I typically don't drink anything so that I won't have to use the restroom most conferences/classes, but I was very comfortable here. The patio area is well kept and comfortable. I enjoyed relaxing out there during lunch to unwind. I would definitely book a room here if I didn't live in town. I can only imagine what the rooms looked like.If you're from out of town and are searching, this would be a great place. The mall and great places to eat are right upstairs. Brio and capital Grille, and Whiskey cake are all great choices. If all else fails, you can't go wrong with cheesecake factory or bat Louie. I haven't had bad food at any of the places. But FYI Brio's cheesecake is so delicious you should check them out.Just book the room already. You have the amazing hotel, good food, and bars all in the same spot. Also, there are so many places nearby.

E: This hotel is a whole different hotel from the one described in the reviews. It sounds like people come when it’s very busy and assume that high price equals Ritz Carlton but sadly that is not the case ever since Tampa became a slightly bigger deal. Also, people don’t really leave positive review anymore because they don’t want to mess up their hidden gem. Well I’m here to tell you don’t worry if you booked this hotel as an average traveler. It’s a genuine Hilton hotel, and you’ll be fine. They recently acquired it and are just working out the kinks. It’s a true Hilton. And peaceful, except for me partying it up the whole time of course.

Darryl Koym: I read the other reviews before we stayed here so I was nervous. But we had zero problems with anything. Room was clean- A.C worked great and we were happy. I know it varies for everyone but for us it has been perfectly fine. This morning I went down and got two muffins and coffee and it was all good and reasonably priced. It is an older hotel but I have no complaints.

Christoph Schweiger: a very nice hotel. We had a wonderful room. Although the hotel is quite a bunker, it has been very successfully renovated and maintained. I think the bar and restaurant are really chic. We didn't eat there, just had breakfast.For dinner there is Bahama Breeze, which is really good and highly recommended. Just type it into Google and you can walk there.

Robina Mccormick: Overall it's a nice hotel- location is convenient to downtown Tampa and the trolley station.Eva was very helpful, showing us how to unlatch the room door which kept sticking.Valentino was a great bartender and Daniel was an attentive valet member.The pool is quaint without a hot tub, the pool bar is open occasionally.Be aware of the daily "destination fee" along with the daily parking fees that will be added at the end.
Mary Love: The front desk is very helpful and welcoming. Rooms are very clean, and the breakfast buffet was fabulous.. They have free bike rentals and a nice location for the bike rides. The pool area was nice as well.Nearby activities: We enjoyed going to different areas using the free bike rentals. They had some water activities in the area. They have a water taxi, but we didn't get the opportunity to use it.Food & drinks: The breakfast buffet was really good. We used to bikes to go to different restaurants in the area.

Tee Tee: Hotel was nice and i got a great rate friendly staff clean comfortable rooms the only reason I didn’t give five stars was because they didn’t tell me I would be charged $16 for parking I found out when I got back home and checked my bank transactions and called. This information should be disclosed when you give customer the parking pass . Overall nice stay and smelled good ! Would definitely stay again

LaToya Jones: Visited Tamps for the Big Smoke and Whiskey Fest and decided to stay here at Hotel Alba for 4 days!Outstanding customer service from Gino at the front desk to the bartenders and hotel staff!!!My room was relatively small and the sliding bathroom door would not stay closed, I wish the lighting was brighter inside the room. Being on the 4th floor, the room was dark with very dim lighting. Other than that, I will visit again, but would just request a room with better lighting, for an even better experience!
