Scott Barker: I've been to a lot of comic book shops in my time, and Nerd Out is hands down the best of the best. Always a steady stream of back issues, toys, and other related collectibles. A wide range of new comics every week ranging from Spiderman and Batman to small indie comics and everything in between. Always super helpful and friendly staff, welcoming people from all walks of life. Absolutely worth making the trip.

Steve Reglis: Stopped by here yesterday with my 3 sons. The girl behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating with all their questions and antics. Place was super clean and well stocked. Will definitely stop by here again next time in the neighborhood.
SmellsLikeGore: Went here whenever FYA was going on down the street and this is probably the coolest comic store I’ve been to. Insane selection of new and old stuff and cool murals all over the building. Workers are also dope.

This is like taking a step onto Mars before Elon musk could set foot on it and make pod homes and breathable air. If you attempt to form the concept of a comic book shop that can beat this one, you might just go brain dead, because no one, and I mean NO ONE on this good green earth can possibly conjure up the concept of another comic book shop. This place will truly change you, as upon entering and being greeted by the cashier, you'll find yourself transported to a parallel dimension where gravity works in reverse, causing you to navigate the aisles by somersaulting through a rainbow-colored vortex of singing jellyfish and disco-dancing penguins. Michael Snipes: I buy from these guys on WhatNot on new comic book day after midnight and they are just amazing. I need to take time and travel from NC to go see this store. They are so patient, kind and amazing in their WhatNot shows.
Paulo Vellano: Excellent selection of comic books, graphic novels and action figures. The staff is polite and helpful, the prices are great and they have a lot of classic, hard-to-find collector’s editions and action figures. Being a collector of geek stuff myself, I highly recommend this place. Will certainly be coming back.

Be nice, respect the stuff, and you'll get the same in return.

Lucky Cat Yoga Studio and Wellness Center: Green Shift is a unique small business in the heart of Seminole heights that sells, comics, graphic novels, used speakers, record players, instruments, records, DVDs, cassettes and even 8 tracks tapes! You can get your instruments restrung or buy your strings there. They used to have a dude you could take guitar lessons from, but not sure if they still do it since they relocated a few years ago. We've been going to this place since 2012 and they have always been kind, honest, and helpful.

SJ: . Comic Spot had 30% off and if you go all the way to Yancy Street they had 35% off TPs. Personally I hit the other shops first because they had the better TP deals, then hit RMC. Still spent $200 because they had so many books the other shops didn't.BUT Read More Comics did let you have more Free Comics from their Free Comic Book Day selection where most of the others they only let you get one or two. So, could be worth hitting first if that's your focus.

ProLastMedia: Read More Comics is by far the most fantastic comic book shop in the Tampa Bay Area. I have been going to this shop since I was 10 years old and I'm in my mid 20s now and the quality has always been consistently top notch. Shop owner is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction whether you're new to comics, an old fan, or looking for something for your friends or family. Also an excellent place to come to if you just want to engage in a little "Comic-Shop Talk". Huge selection of back issues as well. I stop by every week, and I think you should too.

Kitty Paste: I came down to Florida for a vacation and I decided to stop by RMC and the stop was very nice I when to talk to the owner and told him I was new to comics and he help he find exactly what I wanted he was very nice and polite 100% recommend for everyone had a awesome experience I left with quite a few comics I was just originally looking for a nightwing but I was so happy to leave with much more!!!!!!!!!!!!I can’t wait to come back next year !!!!🙏🏻

Jonathan White: A very friendly comic shop. The only issues is if you buy something you aren t allowed to walk around with your bag. I understand it's to prevent shoplifting but it's a bit annoying to a paying customer. I also wish they were open later. They close at 7pm on a Saturday and that seems too early. Aside from these complaints it's a great comic shop. They have wonderful customer service.
