James Tomasino: Every time I cross the bridge to visit Tampa, I always make a stop at Microgroove. While it’s a small shop, it’s usually stocked with great deals on used records, and even has a great local music section. The store is owned and operated by working musicians, which shows in the selection. Sure, you can find the new Taylor Swift here, but you can also unearth some obscure gems as well. In an age where we vote with our dollars, I know my money is well spent here.

Dallas Lanius: Amazing selection of records. Found two very rare pieces I was super stoked to add to my collection, but the owner was the complete stereotype of typical gatekeeping vinyl snob record store owners. It almost felt like I was in a movie. Since I was only passing through I asked him if there were any other record stores in town worth checking out and he said "I don't think so" and then in response to his selection he said "we do things differently here" didn't seem very different from any other store I've been in. very standoffish and weird pretentiousness for a record store. Either way, the record selection was amazing and I would shop here again any time.This isn't a bash and im still leaving a 5 star review, it's just weird to see a record store not being supportive of the rest of their community. I would absolutely shop here again despite that interaction.
William Toms: Great store with some fascinating finds! Very reasonable prices and super friendly as well! On my first visit, I was able to pick up an album I thought I'd never be able to find, let alone afford. Great place for a new find or quest object, and I'll definitely be stopping by again!
Will Rodgers: So far my favorite record store in FL, I collect a lot of underground hard rock/metal and they have a huge selection of smaller label bands, which as a musician is very nice to see. I don't mind the genres mixed together, there are many hidden gems here. Looking forward to going back.

Be nice, respect the stuff, and you'll get the same in return.

Lucky Cat Yoga Studio and Wellness Center: Green Shift is a unique small business in the heart of Seminole heights that sells, comics, graphic novels, used speakers, record players, instruments, records, DVDs, cassettes and even 8 tracks tapes! You can get your instruments restrung or buy your strings there. They used to have a dude you could take guitar lessons from, but not sure if they still do it since they relocated a few years ago. We've been going to this place since 2012 and they have always been kind, honest, and helpful.

frederic gaure: I have now been going to this place a few times and I must say that everytime I go there I discover something new, not just records but cds posters and equipment. The people working there are friendly and helpful and the prices in line with what you can buy online or other stores but the selection of music is huge. They have listening stations too and you will want to take advantage of this feature as you never know how a 50 year old LP will perform. Let's not forget that each second Saturday of the month they hold a little open market where dealers set up outside and sell from their own collection. Over all a great place to go and browse and go back in time or discover new music and hopefully spend some money.

Bill Heck: Very large, old-school style record store. While they have a fairly amazing selection of new, used, and many hard to find records - you will pay top dollar for it. This is not the place to find an underpriced gem; they know what they have and they price it accordingly at or near highest going price. Can't blame them, but don't go here looking for a screaming deal. You'll easily spend some time in this shop though, and I'll definitely be back next time in town.

Stephanie Schwartz: One of the coolest stores I’ve been too. I’m from Portland so I’m used to the mind numbingly pretentious record store, this place is not like that at all. The employees were very helpful and nice and I didn’t catch her name, but the woman working yesterday put down what she was restocking and happily walked me right to the bin I was looking for. The young man who helped us check out was very nice too. The store has an INCREDIBLE selection and I audibly gasped a couple times at the records I found for $9.99 or less. I wish I would’ve started in the back where they had jazz and rock albums for $2.99. I got a majority of my order from back there, and saved room for a couple $20 albums. My total came out to about $80, which included a Beatles Abbey Road album in mint condition, a still in the plastic Best of Nina Simone, a Best of the Byrds, 2 John Denver albums, a Johnny Mathis record, the soundtrack to St Elmo’s Fire, & Loundon Wainwright III. The records being sold for $2.99 were in excellent condition and had clean covers and no scratches. All of them played through perfectly. You can tell the employees spend a ton of time keeping that place organized and clean, the alphabeticalization and tidiness of the store was very impressive. They had rooms full of DVD’s and cassette tapes as well. The back room had a beautiful wall of old record players, walkmans and vintage music players. I could’ve spent four hours in there. I love finding a business like this, they are so few and far between.
ANN SMITH: Love Bananas. Nothing like it up here in Massachusetts. I'm old so I was looking for albums from back in the 60s. I bought 6 original albums and 8 CDs and only cost me $96! I even got the Beatles white album!

The Guitar Trade Centre: I popped into this shop for the first time today.First impression was wow..lots of high quality guitars..Gibsons/Fenders.I have been on a road trip around most guitar stores in Florida this week and Replay is now on my MUST VISIT guitar stores list.The manager Kent was awesome. Very helpful, super friendly and did me some killer deals on my purchases. These guys know how to run a guitar store. Very family feeling when you walk it..its like id known these guys for years.."Well worth the trip"

I had some questions about the specific PRS I wanted and they took the time to answer ALL of my questions with superb patience! The guitar shipped when they said it would, and when I took it out of the box which was packed perfectly and it did not disappoint! I worked with sales and the shipping departments and the whole staff was amazing. I will absolutely consider them and suggest them to anyone with my next musical purchase. The layout was buyer friendly and easy to find whatever you're looking for. The staff are absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable and friendly doesn't even begin to cover how these guys treat their customers. The level of care from the luthiers is superb! The entrance on Fairfield Ave is the actual back, so drive or walk around.Lots of new vinyl and some used. My kid was stoked to find a Periphery record which we bought new and sealed for $38. Cool merchandise like backpacks, tshirts and hoodies. Lots of outdoor space, great vibe throughout. Isabell helped us and she awesome!

David Pavone: Shop here— Staff is super friendly and takes time with each customer/musician, no matter what their level.It isn't hard to notice the synergy between Adriana, Gianfranco, Zack and the Guitar Center team. While working together, they continue to answer my questions in ways I understand.I haven't experienced this anywhere else. A huge Shout-out to Zack, who really helped launch my playing. A prince fan, I was seeking those rare finds, when one of the clerks responded, “Hey, weren't you here last year?”!WTH! And here I was trying to get out of the car with my seatbelt on! That was amazing? A” must-visit” re-record store.

Joe Hayes: Huge warehouse with floor to ceiling sized record shelves! Impressive jazz and rock sections, in particular, with a lot of common titles, but also some you don’t see very often! Their 45 inventory is the most impressive and comprehensive I have ever seen at a store! If there was a somewhat common 45 pressed in the last 40-50 years, there is a high chance they will have it and for a great price! Also, their discogs inventory is found here and they let you test out the albums before purchasing! Their 2 locations in St Petersburg should be on everyone’s list to check out if you’re anywhere in a few hours drive!
Ronald Streicher: Vintage hifi and so many records! I bet you will find it here. Newest and most popular titles will be at the 22nd Ave store and older stuff and vintage hifi at the 2 places on 16th Ave.
