Carlos Lastra: I recently had to move both of my parents into Alimar ALF on very short notice. They have been there just a short period of time, but thanks to all the friendly staff they are already feeling at home. Every staff member there treats them super nice which has made it easier for them to adjust. They also love the food and the friendly atmosphere. Also, Meredith Bond, the administrator, was very helpful and accommodating and guided me through this whole unfamiliar process. She throughly explained everything to me and answered all the questions that I had. I would recommend Alimar to anyone looking for an ALF for a loved one.
Sonia Johns: My mother has been at Alimar Assisted Living Facility for seven years. As you can imagine, she has seen a few staff members, come and go, through the years. One that really stands out is Yeneyki Cantillo, my mother just loves her. I’ve seen a big change in her, sense Yeneyki has been caring for her. She’s happier and smiling more, she even tries to communicate. Seeing my mother cared for, happy and content is a blessing.

The office staff is always keeping me informed and letting me know of any changes that her doctor makes. My mom couldn’t be in better hands!

Joanne McCorkle: My mother moved to Alimar Assisted Living almost 3 years ago. These types of changes for an elder are not the easiest, going from their independence to communal living. My family is so thankful to have found Alimar Assisted Living. My mother is happy, well cared for, surrounded by love , you can visit at any time. Mom is always raving about the food ! The food at Alimar is cooked fresh everyday 3 times a day! It is just like home cooked food and traditional food they are used to eating at home. The facility is clean! Marisela and her staff do a great job!Don't hesitate to make the move. It is harder on you than them. At this age what is most important is well care and socialization there is no lack of that there. My mother is 94 and doing so much better now than being alone and depressed in her apartment. Thank you Alimar ❤

Manuel Robayna: My experience working for Alimar Assisted Living facility has been more than I had expected. I cannot thank enough for what the administration and the employees in general have done for me, not only because it was my first job after my arrival to the USA but, because I have really enjoyed working with its great staff full of care, always helpful and with a positive and friendly attitude. You can find the true family feeling between residents and employees. It is amazing for me to see every day how the residents have fun dancing, painting, playing dominoes, bingo, listening to several musical groups who go there and have fun with them, celebrating Christmas with Santa, Halloween, Valentine’s day, the visit of the Club House Kids and many other activities that always make me wish to be in this place when I get older. I am very pleased to have found this clean and very well-kept facility with a staff knowledgeable about the senior care. I remember when my aunt lived there; it was so simple to join, with its affordable rates, and easy pay options. She was so happy. If you ask me, I would definitely recommend Alimar Assisting Living Facility to all my friends and family. Thank you very much Alimar and always receive a big warm hug from me and my family!

Rebecca Grissom: My father lives here, and I visit him weekly. This facility is absolutely gorgeous, decorated for holidays, and smells lovely. The staff is so affectionate, always touching and caressing the residents. They dance with them too!!

Violet desaulniers: After an unfortunate experience at a local nursing home, Palm Terrace has been a blessing. I moved my mom into Palm Terrace in September and waited this long to write a review expecting to be disappointed, but Melissa and her staff have found a perfect formula to run a tiny village full of happy people. I am thankful that my mother is now treated with dignity and respect and is in safe environment. All teams actually look happy to be there! Reception, activity, dining, and housekeeping in conjunction with the Angels care team are all worthy of praise. Thank you Melissa and team.

Ruby Robertson: I'm just so mad right now I'm 57 years old I tried to get into Temple Terrace Melissa was so nice in the beginning she act like she really can't then what you found out that my doctor put that I need a physical therapy and that I take insulin everything changed she didn't want to be bothered she didn't answer my email someone can you answer my phone calls she just showed me that she didn't care that she's a whole hearted person I mean you had me pack up all my stuff like I really was going to move in there and then you said oh I have to be 62 and have Medicare but you know I was 57 when I first started out cuz I told you that I told you I had a man a long-term care and you was okay with that why did you change so bad I don't understand

There are many other staff members who have made me confident that Palm Terrace is the right place for my deceased Mother's youngest sister. At 88 years old, my Aunt is the only survivor of a family of ten children -6 girls and 4 boys. She is my only living Auntie. My concern for her wellbeing and safety lead me to search for an alternative to her previously living alone, and you have given me the peace of mind needed.

Andrea Turbeville: I don’t know what I would’ve done. They were amazing with my mom and Me! They always had time to listen & comfort me in different situations. Living out of town this was such a Blessing. My mom had a wonderful room & bathroom. The staff was awesome & caring, the food was very good and their Christmas parties were the best.I highly recommend them.

Lynn Manos: I cannot say enough good things about Angels Senior Living South Tampa. My husband was a resident there for almost 6 years. It became his home. The facility is small and the staff consider the residents to be “family” and it is a family. The staff are friendly and caring. They get to know the residents and their unique personalities, which allows them to interact with the residents in a joyful and playful manner. They take their jobs seriously and the care they give our loved ones reflects their professionalism and knowledge of the physical, mental and emotional issues of each individual resident.As my husband’s condition deteriorated, I spent a lot of time on the premises and was truly touched as I watched them care for my husband and each resident. They did a good job coordinating with Hospice and simultaneously respecting our privacy. They reacted appropriately and timely in emergencies.

Kristen Filippone: My father came to Angels after a 6 month stint in and out of hospitals, inpatient rehab and a skilled nursing facility. He had a TBI among other complications and needed an attentive, patient and caring place to continue his recovery. Angels Senior Living is and has been wonderful to my father. They have provided him with the around the clock care he has needed and given me the peace of mind I have needed. Would absolutely recommend.

Ericka Franz: My father-in-law has been living at Angels South Tampa for 7 months now and is thriving under their care. The meals they prepare, the activities they plan, and the OT and PT therapy they offer have all worked together to increase his standard of living. There are not enough good things to say about Al, Angela, Amanda, Jennifer and the rest of the staff there. They give my husband and me peace-of-mind my FIL is receiving the best care possible - even when he is not easy to care for. You can tell the staff really cares about what they do, and they go above and beyond everyday for their residents.

Not only are the staff friendly and respectful, they have gone over and above in helping me coordinate this ministry. They are looking after the spiritual health of their residents as well as their physical health. I am thankful everyday that this is the location assigned to me.
Racquael Wilkes: I brought my dad here to Angels a few months ago. He was depressed, lost a ton of weight where he was previously and not cared for. The difference in his health, ability to get around, happiness is beyond words. They have taken the time to truly get to know my dad and his needs. From new diabetic foot ware, eye doctors that come in, activities, personal hygiene, community, PT, OT and so much more. They have surpassed my expectations and given the quality of care he needed. I just have to extend my greatest thanks and gratitude for all they have done for my dad. He is my Heart! With tears if gratitude..... I love this place, the management, my awesome lady receptionist, Jennifer and every employee. I would definitely recommend Angels of South Tampa for your loved one. Flo Roberts: Finding a safe,secure, and loving place for a loved one is a an important responsibility. After doing extensive research my family and I chose Angels Senior Living in South Tampa. The Administrative and support staff was helpful in the transition from a home to an assisted living community. My visits were always greeted with a smile and positive feedback. There were days that were stressful and difficult for my loved one. However, everyone worked together to ease any discomfort and made us feel that he was loved and well taken care of. Many lasting friendships were made doing our time at Angels. I would encourage and recommend that you visit this facility and see for yourself.

Michelle Grove: Hudson Manor is an absolute gem located on Davis Islands. The property is gorgeous, the staff are unsurpassed and my mom is getting excellent care here and meeting so many new friends. Mom is now playing bingo and dominos and doing crafts as well as getting her hair done weekly here by Kim who is wonderful. The employees are incredible!! Aeisha, Pam, Crystal, Bionca, Tangie, L, Emma, Audrey, Dominique, Shay, Sean, Leon, Mike, Natasha and everyone here is so dedicated to making mom and all the residents lives the best they can be!! Marilyn NP and Dr. Rathan are excellent and very thorough when providing health care for mom. We LOVE Hudson Manor and are so happy mom has such a wonderful and loving community living here!! We are so blessed to call Hudson Manor HOME!! Thank you and Bravo to all these incredible employees at Hudson Manor.
Sam Caltagirone: This facility is relatively smaller but it has the amenities of the larger memory care facility where my mother was previously. The ambience is cozy and homey with sociable residents and attentive staff. The public area and private rooms in this historic building are tastefully renovated, clean, well-lit and spacious. My mother is doing well there and I'm pleased with the level of care provided her.
Tina Spinks: Hudson Manor is a top notch senior living community. John and team do an amazing job! Every time I visit the staff is friendly, engaged and the residents are participating in an activity. I highly recommend checking Hudson Manor out!
Emilio F: I moved my mom into Hudson Manor a month ago and she made friends almost immediately. I witnessed a complete turn around in her activity and attitude. She has met others that grew up in Ybor City with her and they love to talk about the "Old Ybor". The staff is wonderful and caring, her room is clean and cozy with a private bathroom. Best of all, she does not clean her room nor wash/fold her clothes. My mom told me it is like a family at Hudson Manor. She participates in many activities and games and she is getting a restful sleep because she is so active.

Sam Shear: My grandmother is a resident at Hudson Manor and she really likes it. The historic building has been renovated and is so charming. The dining room looks like a French bistro. There are fun activities for my grandmother and her room is awesome. My grandmother sits on the patio after dinner with her friends and chats almost every night. She also watches movies and eats popcorn in the living room often with her friend. There is a new Director, Wanda Blakely, whom is very experienced, understanding, and compassionate. I feel completely confident in Mrs.Blakely’s ability to make any improvements needed. I can tell Mrs. Blakely runs a tight ship but with a gentle touch. I am grateful that my grandmother was able to get a spot at Hudson Manor. Hudson Manor is conveniently located near a bank, shops, and restaurants and is only 2.4 miles from my house.
GWEN RENEE: I moved my Mother to Hudson Manor 4 years ago very much against her will. I am so happy to report that she now calls Hudson Manor her home. She is happy and her health has improved significantly. The Executive Director Wanda Blakely has been a god send to me. She is very accessible and is extremely proactive in my Mother's care. You can tell she really cares about her well being. I am beyond thankful she has been extremely diligent in keeping her safe during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Staff is very attentive to residents, well maintained and alot of activities for the residents. Rebecca is very knowledgeable with Dementia and Elder Care with her background and experience.

We got the last apartment available which was a little small but look forward moving mom to a bigger apartment. Kitchen is a full size-all appliances. Overall exceptional service.

bob murphy: Visited this community recently. It is without a doubt the nicest in South Tampa, both the building and the people that live and work there. Was very impressed with the activities program that includes aqua therapy in the on-site pool and the multiple programs available daily, as well as the cocktail lounge on the fifth floor.

Dorree Gurdak: About 2 years ago, we began exploring the right new home for my mother and we were so lucky to have discovered Allegro Hyde Park. My mother was able to remain independent despite a decline in her eyesight and she was able come and go as she pleased, while also having the luxury of a being driven with other like-minded residents regularly to the grocery store, church activities and doctor’s appointments. She began to make friends and developed a great balance of interacting with others at monthly birthday celebrations, or remaining in her beautiful, clean apartment when she wished to do her own thing. We could have never predicted the past year and how seniors would be affected by Covid-19. At first, I was very nervous about how all would play out. However, it became evident that the management team, as well as every single member of the staff was dedicated to the physical and mental health and well-being of each resident. They adapted safety protocols swiftly and PPE and temperature checks were implemented and all was communicated quickly, efficiently and always with love. As I was not local, the staff coordinated Facetime calls for me to speak with my mother, made holidays in quarantine special and kept her laughing. I highly recommend Allegro Hyde Park to all families as it is a beautiful senior living community full of wonderful residents and a committed, caring, smart staff that is unmatched. If you’re thinking about a special place for your parent or loved one, you need to visit Allegro Hyde Park!
Roy Dickie: Allegro Hyde Park, if I could give it Six stars I would. If you are seeking an independent or assisted living facility I highly recommend Jennifer Rotunda and her staff at Allegro. They are second to none.
Gen Faulk: I am a social worker in the community that visits with residents of this building. The care is excellent, the building is beautiful, and Director of Nursing and Executive Director do everything possible to ensure that their residents are safe, healthy, happy and well cared for. All the clients I have worked with who reside in this community report that the food is very good and that they are very happy living there. I would highly recommend this community as a professional in the aging field.

Adam Willis: This is a great place for both caregivers and residents. They really care about their residents. The chef here is excellent and the food is always great. They do a lot of resident and community events as well. All the staff is very nice and caring and Mitch the Executive Director is the man. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Thor Stevens: I’m an entertainer that performs monthly at the facility. I’ve been performing in a lot of senior care homes for the last 25 years. When seniors are happy, they are more talkative Let’s just say the residents here talk my head off. I don’t mind one bit. Many facilities in which I perform, the residents have a look as if they’re in another dimension. At Legacy, every resident I come into contact with has a look of engagement. That is missing at many homes.The staff are incredible as they have a sincere interest in the residents needs. When my time comes to decide where I’m going to live out my golden years, Legacy at Highwoods Preserve is on my speed dial. Why don’t you make it available to you on speed dial as well?

Stephanie Harris: The Legacy at Highwoods Preserve is a nice assisted living facility. The commons areas are well-appointed, and you always see residents in those areas. They can sit out front under a canopy. I wish they had a garden area. The outdoor has many palm trees and some other pretty landscaping.The care is good for the most part. They are short-handed at times, and I have an issue with my mother's haircare and grooming. She can't do her own hair, and only gets showered twice a week. Her hair is always an issue, and not sure about oral care. The food is okay, but my sister brings her cooked food every week and takes her out at least once a week to eat. Mom misses being able to cook for herself.This past week or so, Mom had ants in her room, and they were crawling on her from her chair. I was aghast when I heard that. They came in and sprayed, and I haven't heard her complain any more about them.Legacy decorates nicely for holidays and special days. They do a very nice Christmas dinner for guests and family.There is a monthly schedule of activities for those that wish to participate. The activities director takes groups out to eat.They have in-house movies.
Matt P: As a former Assisted Living Facility administrator my standards and expectations for any community are really high. While searching for a community for my loved one, I toured with Joe and Mitch at the Legacy. On my tours I interacted with numerous staff members, residents, and families of the residents. It was apparent early on that the staff loved serving the residents and the residents felt that love. It was evident from top down that the culture of the building was one of compassion and caring. My loved one passed away prior to being able to take ownership of the apartment, but based on my first hand experience with the team I would highly recommend this community.

The Legacy at Highwoods Preserve is located in a quiet neighborhood with native greenery in the upscale area of New Tampa, FL. Stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and county parks are just minutes away, for the residents and their visiting families to enjoy.

Jamie Parries: I recently moved my mother into the memory care portion of this facility. From the tour with Cindy Lee and Daniella, to every aid and nurse that helps my mother daily, I can’t be more satisfied with the care. The nurses and aids listen with compassion to my concerns, and always have her well being as their first priority. I have interacted with first and second shifts frequently, and feel blessed to have them in our lives.......Thank you ladies, couldn’t do it without you!!!Jamie❤️
