inchaverde311: Its great . It connects to other parks

Sira Schroff: Fantastic place to roller blade, bike ride, jog or simply to take a walk off the beaten path…

Milena Mendez: Natural park to exercise, run, walk. Small children's play areaPlayground: Little

Michelle Vazquez: Restrooms: Port-a-pottyDog-friendliness: Signs indicate should be leashed.Picnic area: There are a few picnic tables neat the parking area

Damaris Perez: Nice small park. Just wish they had a restroom.

Kyle Jacobson: A nice little playground and paved trail that connects with the Tampa flatwoods park

William Rozear: Fun little park with a Zipline and climbing zone. Maybe a 1/8 to 1/4 mile shaded walk on the trail. Good parking and a portapotty. Very nice place to spend a little while surrounded by nature.

Dannie Gao: with Zipline and rock climbing -- not your traditional playground which is nice to see. Be careful on the boardwalk with little kids, planks are falling off with cracks and holes.

linda s: Love riding my electric bike on these trails! I love the paved trails but the hidden off road trails are a blast! Free parking is great too!

Karla Jagannathan: The trail is shaded well paved, it is very relaxing. Very well maintained. The playground is appropriate for different agesDog-friendliness: Has trash cans and doggie bags so you can pick after your dog

Tori Wiley: Very pretty with all the wild yellow flowers on the bushes as you drive in. The park is hidden and tucked away, has a small playground and a fun zip line. There is a paved, shady and very nice walking trail with a short boardwalk that leads directly to Flatwoods bicycle trail. One porta potty by the p-lot. Nice little walk for the dog and the kids.Playground: The zip line is really fun and a rare thing to see in a small park like this

Jennifer Byrd: Cute park tucked away behind Flatwoods Park

Hillsborough River State Park: what do users think?

Ashley D: We stayed here for just under 2 weeks. This place is quiet and beautiful. The showers and the bathrooms could use an update but still work just fine. The river is beautiful and they have kayak and canoe rentals along with bicycles as well. A bit pricey for just 2 hours but still fun. The workers and volunteers here are very nice and pleasant. The washing machines here malfunction while our clothes were in it and we lost $7 and the guy who maintains them was unwilling to give us a refund so that was a bummer. The state park couldn't refund us either because they are contracted with the person who maintains the washing machines and dryers. Lots of wildlife here. We saw red Cardinals and of course the female cardinals and also lots of squirrels, armadillos and even deer. Turtles in the water. There is a playground for kids and lots of trails. This is a dog friendly park. I would definitely come back to this park but they have so many housing developments going up that it might not be as peaceful when they're done with all that.Playground: It's a decent little playground for kids. Bring your bug spray because the mosquitoes are relentlessRestrooms: The restrooms in the campground are good. Three stalls for showers and also toilets. And they have one for each campground loop. The water pressure and the smaller shower areas is not great.Dog-friendliness: There are lots of dogs here and lots of responsible pet owners during our stay. They had their dogs on leashes and you didn't see any dog poop laying aroundPicnic area: There are lots of different picnic tables near the trails for the day use people. It looks very nice. Bring big spray

Luke Blount: Playground: The playground is in shade which makes it very nice for the kids and the adultsRestrooms: The restrooms are always cleanDog-friendliness: Love taking the dogs to the park my dogs love it too everybody's always so friendlyPicnic area: There are multiple picnic areas get there early and pick your table

Z: I came here for the first time and it feels straight out of a dream. You could spend the whole day exploring and still not see the whole park. Definitely a staple whenever I find myself in the area.

Denise Welch: The park itself is beautiful. Everything is well thought out, staff is super friendly and helpful. Absolutely nothing they could do about the scorching weather this weekend! We just couldn't take it, we had to cut our visit short, but we will try again in the fall when it's a little cooler.Restrooms: Well maintained, fully stocked, no complaints.

P SHUDRA: Great park. Development around makes 301 dangerous but once in park its beautiful. Rapid trail is gorgeous.

Jennifer Wynne: , the spot was a perfect length .Dogs are welcome, and there were poop bags provided around the park. I will do a pull through next time. I can't wait to go again!Playground: We did not use the playground.Restrooms: Restrooms were what I expected for a park. Clean but run down. There was a washer and dryer outside, and a couple sinks to wash dishes if you don't have a sink.Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs

Zach V: but otherwise well kept trail with clear visible trail markers.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

bert S: Alafia scrub is an outstanding county park with hiking trails through the woods. It is pet friendly with a leash. If I had to pick a negative, it would be that I saw alot of trash along the south trails do to homeless in the past and the lack of county employees willingness to keep it clean. Also be careful of a collapsing walk bridge. Wonderful 30 min walk

Upper Tampa Bay Park: what do users think?

Kelsey Smith: I walked their bobcat, otter, and eagle trails yesterday, each under one mile. Paths were mostly dirt but well maintained. My favorite was the eagle trail, which had a nice boardwalk with mangroves and a fishing spot. There's not a ton of shade, and there are dirt paths to get to the boardwalks. I enjoyed it, but would prefer something with more distance and a little more shade.

Christopher J. Martin: trails that show off some of the different landscapes, including a variety trees, plants and the chance to see some wildlife. The park borders up against Mobbly Bay, which ultimately connects up with Old Tampa Bay... almost like a bay within a bay. A boardwalk trail takes you to views of the bay and through the interesting ecosystem that makes up the space between the water and the dry land. Mangroves

Dennis Hohman: Best park.....walk,Bic, fish. Kayaking!

Julia R: I love city and county parks; they offer a relaxing and nice atmosphere.

Andrew Jones: Very well maintained park great for large outdoor picnicsPicnic area: Great for large gatherings

Yarah Elshaer: Beautiful park that is very well maintained. The park rangers were so kind and helpful. The kayak rentals were very affordable. Definitely a memorable experience and I can't wait to come back.Restrooms: Restrooms were clean and well maintained.

Highland Nature Park: what do users think?

Kori Cunningham: Was a great lil park

Rachael B.: Playground: Small playground ideal for younger kids. No swings.

Cisco Lopez: Playground: Small playground

Paul Kerswill: Beautiful and refreshing

Erin: It's just a small play set, no bathrooms. There's a trail to walk to get to a wooden walkway to a little lookout on the lake but the mosquitos are literally SWARMING . I would not recommend walking your children back to that, unfortunately. It's beautiful but you may get eaten alive.

shannon stubbs: Needs some maintenance but a nice park with a beautiful surprise in the back of it .

Don Smith: This park has a small but nice playground, picnic tables and bathrooms. It is a short walk to a wooden pier which looks out over lake tarpon. There is a small elevation here and some open areas but not flat. Careful of picking up pieces of wood, I found a small scorpion nestled in the crack of a small piece one day.

Thomas Bonner: Nice little park. Beautiful view of the lake.

Gene Ellis: Beautiful little neighborhood park with easy access. Well maintained parking lot and restroom. Nice little play area with jungle gym, slides, etc., for the kids. Pleasant walking trail leads to a short boardwalk at the edge of the lake. Scenic views of the lake. Tall cypress trees around the boardwalk, where numerous birds and turtles can be seen. Very pleasant area where you can take an enjoyable walk.
