jonas mcmillan: . We used our friend Google and found this fabulous pool in Tampa. The receptionist was charming and knowledgeable, she answered all our questions, the lifeguards were on top of things and made me feel safe. The pool was so clean and beautiful. We felt right at home. If you happen to come to Tampa and you need a place to cool off, come here to Roy Jenkins pool. There is a very tiny fee to get in. We paid less than 4 bucks for the two of us. They do have a nice kiddie pool too. This place is good for all ages. And you can bring your pool noodles too. Don't forget about the sun block!

VICTORIA ROCHA: Excellent place very close to bush gardens the service is good the staff is very friendly everything was very good I only had one drawback the bathroom had black hair between the bathroom and there was already hair on the floor and in the toilet and inside the shower when we arrived we could I went in front to tell them but we didn't go we don't like to make scandals and the pool was very dirty I'm just sharing my opinion so they can improve the place everything was very friendly the parking was very safe the room was fresh and the beds were clean everything was very comfortable excellent place if you come from accessible ride the price

Victor Agosto: This hotel was in a excellent location for our trip to Bush Gardens. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC could've been better it was a little warm at night. Rick The transportation driver provided excellent service. Was friendly dropped off and picked us both days of our trip. We never had to wait long,he also gave us great tips for the park. We will be returning next month for my son's birthday & will definitely stay here again because of the excellent service from Rick and the female who checked us in. I can't remember her name but she was friendly and extremely helpful.

Camden Smith: Four stars because 5* is a Waldorf. A 3-Star rated hotel functioning as a 4 Star because of staff, cleanings and value. WELL KEPT NICE HOTEL!!! Photos are included. You won't have to search low and high for plugins for your devices. Room even has usb plugs. SUCH A PLUS. There is low room lighting and high uplighting, and the cool room is genuinely nice.The best part of course is its location close to Busch Gardens and other attractions but personally I find if you're staying here for a day or two you'll love the fact that you have a microwave, a Keurig coffee machine and a refrigerator that actually stays cool lol.Rooms: LOTS OF USB AND ELECTRICAL PLUGS!!!! YAY! fridge, microwave, keurig coffee maker. Great bake hotel. Very clean. No diet. No bugs. Clean!!!!Nearby activities: Busch Gardens. MOSI Museum. Kiera Brown: I purchased Busch Gardens passes and stayed in this hotel for one night. The staff was great. The hotel room good. However, in all my 39 years of living and staying in various hotels since childhood have I have never experienced the NOISE LEVEL at a hotel like this. It was appalling. Apparently there was some kind of birthday party going on and the participants proceeded to sing the HAPPY BIRTHDAY song all night long. As of that wasn't enough, there was a guy on a mic talking loudly periodically all night and what sounded like a mariachi band blaring it's music all night long. Whole time Im thinking, why is the staff allowing this?! Neither my fiance or I slept well at all. I'm writing this review from the hotel right now and at 737am they are STILL playing music loudly.I won't be returning, I value my money and sleep too much.Edit on 5/12/24:George, the general manager, reached out to me personally to offer to make our experience right. Our second trip to the hotel was perfect! Room was great, staff was wonderful and accommodating and my daughter really enjoyed the ice cream offered from the hotel from 8-10pm.Thank you again for making everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our whole experience the second time round!
Garrett B: First time staying here, but travel regularly, mainly staying at other IHG properties.Even before we checked in, Melinda was super helpful, polite, and really made us feel welcome as we were traveling to Tampa.When we checked in, we were greeted by her once more and she was extremely welcoming, polite and way different than I have been accustomed to in the past.The rooms were super clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and it is as close as you can get to Tampa without all the traffic and congestion.

Agustina Otero: . we arrived late at night to this other hotel - where a couple was screaming at each other outside, the hallways had stains on the floor, and there were roaches crawling around our room.although close to midnight, we left and looked for other hotels that had availability for the night and came across holiday inn express. keegan was very understanding of our situation and let us know that they not only had a room for us to stay in but we could also receive a discounted price for it. keegan was also extremely helpful in helping us resolve issues we had with our key cards. overall, we had a great stay. our rooms were very clean, comfortable, and we felt secured.
Arianna Mangual: Busch Gardens weekend getaway! The hotel was perfect. The rooms were large and the bed was comfortable. Complementary breakfast is always appreciated when you're a parent.We experienced something special here that I had never experienced while staying at a Holiday Inn before. Each night, from 8 to 10pm, ice cream awaits in the lobby. I thought it was very sweet and appreciated. The front desk staff and breakfast crew were always kind, super helpful and always wore smiles on their faces. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very enjoyable.Rooms: Rooms are very spacious and extremely well kept and maintained. The cleaning services is excellent! You have Keurig, coffee, pot, refrigerator, and sink available. Ashley Murray: Listen everyone here is so nice from the front desk to the house cleaners to the maintenance workers. I’m very happy we ended up at this location l. Breakfast this morning was delicious as ever it was extremely clean and appetizing. I had to come leave a review because the warmth of the staff and the friendliness really blew me away. They are down to earth as ever. Great hotel. We will be here 2 more days and planned to try different hotels. Nope I think we will stay
Krista Simmons: This was a last minute booking and we were not disappointed. Melinda at the front desk was pleasant and kind. She was helpful and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but nothing to complain about. There was even ice cream at night for the kids. It was a nice surprise! Just a side note, the Fridays next door where you get a discount was terrible service and the food was gross. Just save yourself the time and energy. That does not reflect on holiday inn express. Just a word to the wise. 😁

Brian Sinclair: I have been traveling the last 4 days. 4 hotels, 4 days. I got to this location and was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel is. The gentleman at the front desk should be an owner or manager. I received the best customer service here. Definitely the best since I've been on my business trip in Tampa. This guy is truly a professional and goes above and beyond. I was very, very impressed. I hope the owner or manager of this location sees this review and passes on some praise. I should have gotten his name, but unfortunately, I did not. A big thank you to him for really turning a rough day into a pleasant evening.

TheBebop29: The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is a treat for the luxury lover! The Casita suites are perfect combination of privacy and luxury, complete with room service, bellman service, mood lighting, robes, slippers, and motion lights under the bed for the late night bathroom breaks! The valets are so kind and Sherrill at the front desk was so patient and helpful to me, providing champagne tokens and maps to guide me around the property. The Casita suites come with dinnerware and you can control the tv with your cell phone. There was a convenient 1/2 bath downstairs and a dining area separate from the living space. There's a spacious closet upstairs and downstairs with extra bedding for guests to use the sofa bed if needed. The barn door entrance to the master bathroom I loved, with huge LED mirror and walk in shower with body wash, shampoo and conditioner ready to use. There's toiletries ready, from mouthwash to shower caps to q tips and of course a hair dryer. Slippers accompany the robes and are available to buy if you like. There's even an automatic ice maker just add water! With 2 pools, restaurants, tennis and basketball courts all on the property There's no reason to leave, and lots of gorgeous photo ops for influencers alike!
Jeff Hammonds: Simply a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Been here twice in 2024 so far and every stay was fantastic. All the remodeling is done…the bar, restaurant and pool area is simply outstanding. If you truly want a nice weekend getaway to relax and unwind the Grand Hyatt in Tampa Bay is the place to go! The view from the 14th floor ballroom/balcony overlooking the Bay at sunrise and sunset is just stunning!Noteworthy details: Everything about this hotel is amazing!

Christoph Schweiger: a very nice hotel. We had a wonderful room. Although the hotel is quite a bunker, it has been very successfully renovated and maintained. I think the bar and restaurant are really chic. We didn't eat there, just had breakfast.For dinner there is Bahama Breeze, which is really good and highly recommended. Just type it into Google and you can walk there.

Eric: Pro’s. It is located on the backside of Bush Gardens. Pretty well up-kept on the rooms and the price is reasonable. Free breakfast.Cons. As a prior Tampa resident. It’s roughly 2 miles to the front entrance. You would not want to walk in that area so you still drive and pay for parking.Our rooms door did not close well and was beat up in the sense that the bottom pushed in when it was locked.Breakfast was pancakes, waffles, muffins, bagel. No proteins, but all the empty serving trays for them.The person taking care of that area spoke about the prior day being worse? That someone had gone shopping, but still not bought meat/ all the breakfast stuff.🤷♂️

Larisa Sito: Booked a two queen suite. Nice large rooms. Has a full living with a pull outsofa room large bathroom and a separate bedroom. Overall good experience. The couches really needed to be cleaned. Great location close to Busch Gardens. Close to restaurants, walgreens, lots of food options, steps from 24/7 Wawa. I booked straight through the website which was the best way. For the price point I would book again. They really need a better cleaning service.

Charlene H.: Literally down the street from Busch Gardens. Parking became an issue when the hotel was full. We were directed to park next door at the restaurant, but had to get up super early to move our car. After hours was great when everything quieted down. Awesome pool area. The restaurant on site IS NOT OPEN, but the bar and grill and breakfast restaurants right next door are both amazing!!!! It's close to everything you could want or need. Only was a little over an hour to Orlando and Siesta Key from here. Clearwater was maybe 45 minutes away.Rooms: Very modern, updated, and clean. TV is a tad tiny, but it's okayFood & drinks: Restaurants on both sides are phenomenal. They have snacks and sodas to purchase in the lobby.

John Hodge: Our room was one which had already been renovated and was clean, spacious and bright. We were disappointed that the “Free WiFi” was out of order although there was excellent 5G. Unfortunately, for international travellers, this eats into a quite small overseas data allowance.The bed was not the most comfortable one I’ve ever slept in but not the most uncomfortable either.Breakfast is a buffet with some fruit, yoghurts, sausage and egg croissants, which you microwave yourself

Charmaine Caines: I love and do enjoy staying here at the Westshore Blvd location. All the workers here are phenomenal, but I must give a shout out to my girl Porsha. She's truly amazing, and I can't forget Frankie, dang! He can work. Great job guys.Rooms: The rooms are good, could be a little more spacious, but we're still good enough.
Charte Myrick: Been here since July 2023. Love the fact that housekeeping is always professional & Ready to assist in any way possible. Front desk Portia always come with a smile. The Manager Yunetti! Always greeting with a smile & Always been very helpful with my reservation. Which I still struggle with.
