I'm finishing my last quarter here, and I had business, accent reduction, and advanced writing classes that helped a lot to improve my English skills. Another great thing is that we could visit places outside the school, like USF University, Renaissance Hotel, the Police Department, the Library, etc. I highly recommend this school.

Marion Haase: As a lifelong musician, I've never seen a conservatory or music studio where the kids are so at ease, so invested in their instrument, and so friendly toward one another! The staff really gets it, they understand why it's important for music to be fun and geared toward the child's personal preferences and how they each learn.
Jeff Cofini: Such a great experience for these kids to be able to grow their talents in a rock band setting. Approximately every eight weeks School of Rock takes their show on the road and plays what they have been learning on stage in front of a fairly large audience at a public venue. A real confidence builder and so much fun for the the kids family and friends to see in that type of setting.

Kailyn Perez: Birdie is such an incredible instructor. It’s pretty hard to believe how much my seven month old learned in just a couple of weeks. Getting acclimated to the water, being able to hold her breath underwater for a couple of seconds along with starting the process of showing her safety and getting to the wall. She learned how to kick and move arms under water as well as beginning stages of rolling into back. Forever thankful for our time with Birdie and the foundation that has been created so that she can be an excellent swimmer and that most importantly she can be safe!

Maureen Stewart: Birdie did an excellent job with my two sons who recently turned 3 and 4. My 4 year old learned backstroke and butterfly with her and his freestyle improved a ton. My 3 year old made impressive strides and knows how to roll over and do freestyle.

I love being in the water but could not swim. Birdie really helped me become more comfortable in the water and taught me several swim strokes. By the last day I was hanging out in the deep end, treading water and practicing my swim strokes. I will forever be grateful for my lessons.

My son has been attending for the past 6 weeks and the progress he’s made is truly unbelievable. He recently turned 3 and the program is fun, engaging & safe. It’s been really fun to watch his confidence grow week by week!
Barrie Nulman: My son was on week 2 of swim lessons at Maureen’s and it was like watching a different child! He let the instructor take him to the bottom of the pool and we even went on a boat this weekend and he let my husband jump off the boat with him which dunked his head under water and he didn’t blink! To think I would have missed that moment if I gave up week 1 when he was hysterical crying. Week 1 was very difficult watching him cry the first couple lessons but we didn’t give up and today on week 3 he was so excited to go swimming! 10/10 recommend! Teaching your child how to float and safely get back to the edge of a pool is a huge relief that he will know how to stay safe in the water and I’m so happy we started and didn’t give up. !
marissa kartman: Maureen was great!! She gives the kids a firm hand while teaching the vital skills. My then 3 and 5 year old learned so much and still implement those skills a year later! I can confidently say if I my kids fell in a body of water they have the tools they need to get to safety !!
Asad Jan: Highly recommend Maureen’s swim academy. We just finished 15 days lesson for my daughter and the results are obvious. Swim instructor Destiny is knowledgeable, friendly and helped my daughter overcome her fear of water on her first day. Worth it - Thank you
Matthew Ruiz: Swim instructor Corra is everything you’d look for in a swim class! She’s patient with her clients & is determined to teach proper form and do it in a way that encourages clients to continue trying. I joined as an adult learner and my instruction has taught me to be much, much, much more comfortable in the pool! I came in not knowing the basics and now I’m perfecting different techniques! Trust me when I say they’re willing to make sure you understand how to first & foremost be safe in the pool & other water settings. 5 stars all the way.
Taylor West: Overall, our experience is fine. I think I would have preferred going with one of the ISR instructors who run their business like well-oiled machines and also get great results. But I know there are hundreds of families who think MSA is amazing so my experience is probably unique.
