Justin recommended Aveda products specifically designed for my color treated hair, and he gives a precise haircut that framed my face. Michelle Whittum: Shout out to Bri at Salon Norrell!! She does amazing work! I had highlights that were very light and grown out at the root. Bri toned them and blended them into my roots so beautifully to where I was back to my normal hair but still had the highlights more toned to my hair color. She gave me a beautiful hair cut as well and styled my hair. Very transparent with pricing at the start of my visit and very affordable. J.: Was very nervous since I am quite used to barbers and their clipper happy tendencies. Got my hair cut with Vanessa, she was so helpful, totally went at the pace I felt comfortable and made sure I was okay with everything she did along the way. I definitely recommend anyone to Vanessa!!
None: I called The Shop looking for a stylist that was good at texturizing hair. Sandy placed me with Jenna. Jenna has given me fantastic cuts from the beginning. My hair is completely straight on top, curly on the bottom, thick, heavy, and course, plus a swirl at the crown. It's always been dificult to find someone who can blend the hair so there isn't a line between the top and bottom, and who will texturize it enough to pop the curl. Jenna's blending, texturizing, and cuts are amazing! She also has matched my color beautifully. I have received numerous compliments on the cut and color. She has a wonderful personality to compliment her styling skills.

Alexus Medina: NBR extensions are great and Haute Hair does an amazing job as well. I've been going to them for a year now and I've had a new install twice. Everyone's experience, I'm sure, is very different depending on your natutal hair, your hair care routine etc. I'll explain my experience and then give my review and input!The first time I went was last November and I had a consultation with Amanda and a few of the girls there. I wanted blonde ends with darker roots and a natural blend. We did 18 inches all together the hair lasted about 10 months. I had 3 rows and did a move up about every 6 weeks but I could go to 8 weeks without a problem. The 2nd time I went was this past September. I wanted basically the same thing but 22 inches and more blonde along with a money piece.They definitely made my dreams real and were great with communication and collaboration. I trust every girl in there with my hair and that's great because they are a collaborative salon. They are all so knowledgeable talented sweet and accommodating. They are great on explaining the care of the hair and making sure expactions are set. NBR is comfortable and easy to care for at least in my experience. If you really want to have extentions this is definitely the place to go.

Vivianne Fleischman: I’ve been going to Shane for over 10 years. For me this is incredible because I was always a serial “dater” when it came to finding a stylist. I was sick of being recommend to different hairdressers only to pay a fortune for a great looking studio and meh haircut and color. The along came Shane. He is a game changer, the real deal. My hair has always been super fine. Fine hair in the wrong hands can be disastrous. Ever since he started doing mine, I actually get complimented. He is always a step ahead of the game and his execution always on point. I’ve been a micromanager in the past when it came to my strands, e.g. “make sure you only take off 1/4 of an inch”; etc. When I sit in Shane’s chair I can give him carte blanche to do whatever he wants and he has yet to disappoint. He did my hair for my wedding and it was stunning!!! I don’t know how he’s not in NYC or LA, but I’m glad he’s here. If he wasn’t though, I’d still make the trip.

However, I recently decided to try Hand Tied Hair Extensions- I have NEVER been happier!! The hair is so full and soft and beautiful. You get all the fullness without the weight on your head. Scott gave me some recommendations and was able to do a really good job at layering and cutting my curls back into a more manageable state. val wilt: I moved to Tampa a few months ago and was dreading finding a new stylist. I am so glad I found Katie at Salon Hyde Park. She gave me a cut that is easy to style. Even more important, while she offers an opinion, she listens to what you want and is eager for you to leave happy.

karen cole: Katie cut and colored my hair, like the top NYC salons I previously went to. Precision cut, like Vidal Sassoon. Color of a naturally blonde child, with shine, vibrancy and dimension. After multiple salons, I have gone to in Tampa Bay. Was contemplating flying to NY for the quality of service, I was use to. Saw her instagram pic’s, and made an appointment. She is truly gifted. Like Oprah’s favorite things. She is now my favorite find. Salon is great. From making an appointment to being in the salon. Tampa’s best kept secret.

Cindy Russell: It was my first time getting my haircut in 3 years and Taylor was amazing. Her amazing wash was so good I went into a peaceful bliss. She listened to my wants and discussed what she would recommend and I totally trusted her. Dare I say it but I think I’m a Taylor customer for life now! I will see her and this beautiful salon every six weeks now!

Lora K: I like going to the Aveda salon in Hyde Park. It’s fun to plan some extra time to walk around the area before or after my appointment. Madison is the second hairdresser I have had there . Both have been excellent and I believe the management does a great job choosing and mentoring their stylists .Madison is very easy to talk to, and asks smart questions about the cut and look you’re going for, and it shows in the final product. She pays attention to and remembers what I ask her for, and there afterwords remembers your preferences . I am always very happy with the results from Aveda ,
