Gigi's Fabric Shop: what do users think?

Linda Coudriet: Unique shop

Shaquonda Brown: Very nice shop with many quilt patterns!!!

Amy B: . I was so happy with my sewing machine purchase, I called them to help me with my furniture. First of all, I tried to buy my machine from my local shop here where I live and unfortunately I never felt comfortable working with them. I ended up finding Gigi’s online from their YouTube videos. At first, I was a little leery about buying all of this from someone who wasn’t local, but let me tell you, that was not the case. All the customer service was excellent! They also were helpful friendly and went above and beyond to help me get what I needed within my price range. Bokie & David really take pride in helping their customers. There was also one other person, who helped me and I can’t remember their name. I think they might have been the owner. Basically, I had 3 different people who helped me and all of them were so fantastic. I have no worries that if I need anything or have questions they will be able to take care of it. I made all the transactions over the phone and never even had to go in person. THANK YOU Gigi’s Fabric shop!!!!

Mike Shumaker: We drove from Hudson to purchase an industrial sewing machine. They demoed them for us and we eventually made a $2500+ purchase.

Jean Montle: Boki was very helpful talking to me about my stitch problems with my machine and giving me different ideas thank-you

Krupa Patel: They’re really nice and will help you get just what you need.

Elizabeth Robinson: The staff at Gigi’s makes this place! They honestly and sincerely care about helping their customers. From parts replacements by HD to color matching thread from Boki you will not be disappointed. If you order online the shipping turnaround is fantastic. Can’t wait to live within driving distance!

Savannah Piacquaddio: A beautiful and clean store with a gorgeous assortment of fabrics! It was my first time at the shop and they answered all my questions and went out of their way to help me. It was a very motivating experience for a novice seamstress like me!

Marilyn Stook: The store is very nice an clean but the hours are limited. Sales personnel are always very nice and helpful

Dukeandmandy: I made a online purchase and accidentally purchased a high dollar item that I didn’t mean to leave in my cart. The website had an easy access phone number to call, no searching, and a very friendly lady answered the phone on a Sunday when they were closed and did a immediate return to my card. I haven’t even been in the store yet and I already love them. I will definitely be shopping here a lot. Amazing service.

Lissette Nunez: Great customer service

Rachel Coronado: First looks at the new store and its so inviting. Very bright and first thing you see are multiple fabrics to choose from. Open almost everyday of the week too. They will be opening on Sat I heard as well. Super friendly staff and great selections!

Shannon Smith: Nice selection of fabric. Friendly staff.

someday sewer: Cute shop definitely in the modern category. Have a couple shelves of beach type fabric and huge clearance section. Also carries Riley Blake and Tula Pink

Keep Me In Stitches - Clearwater: what do users think?

Heidi Coykendall: Always friendly folks, very knowledgeable about their products

Stephanie Hernandez: As if one Keep Me in Stitches store wasn't enough to captivate my sewing-loving heart, their second location has now left me completely spellbound! I couldn't believe my luck when I discovered they had expanded, and I simply had to check it out. From the moment I walked through the doors of their second store, I knew I was in for another delightful sewing adventure. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you're among old friends. The staff here, just like at their first location, are exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist with any sewing-related questions. What's especially wonderful about having two locations is the opportunity to explore different events and workshops. Each store hosts its own unique gatherings, which means I can now double the fun by attending even more sewing classes and meeting like-minded crafters. One of the best things about Keep Me in Stitches' second location is that it maintains the same level of excellence in its presentation and organization. It's a well-kept and delightful space to browse, shop, and indulge in all things sewing-related.If you're in the area and even remotely interested in sewing, don't miss the chance to experience the wonder of Keep Me in Stitches' second location. Trust me, you'll be leaving with a cart full of sewing delights and a heart full of inspiration!

Robin Davitt: KMIS is my happy place. I am delightfully addicted to the eye-candy fabric, the classes, the machines, but …. most of all the staff, especially Allen. When someone in the military says, “He knows his stuff!” …. it’s a very high compliment for someone highly competent. Allen knows his stuff and is willing to share it. Allen, I value you, appreciate you, and admire you. You’re the best! Thank you for everything. I am so grateful for having discovered KMIS and you.

Desiree Etheridge: I’ve bought 4 machines in the past 2 years from KMIS. Each time I out grew my machines and upgraded. They gave me a generous trade in price on the upgrade. I bought my machines from Allen. Allen is a good sales person, not pushy and he doesn’t lie. When you buy a machine here it comes with full in person instructions. Allen is a great educator, engaging, informative and fun. When you buy a sewing machine here, as opposed to online, you always have a resource person to call. This is also a great place to shop for quality fabric. I highly recommend this business for your sewing needs. The entire staff is very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. It’s a really fun place to be, it’s one of my happy places. Thanks Allen and Darcie, for everything.

Krupa Patel: They are a great source of information and ideas. I purchased a machine from the store and I appreciate the great customer service by Darcy and Allen.

Ree (Ree's Treasures): They always nice and very helpful and have a plethora of knowledge.

Brenda Douglas: Nice friendly place to shop

Chan Bliss: Keep me in Stitches has a wonderful selection of beautiful fabrics. The staff is very helpful answering our questions and offering useful advise. Keep me in Stitches is our go to quilting store.

Sheri Foxworth: I have visited the new Clearwater location that just opened in Oct. 2020. I have been very impressed with the staff and the fabrics. I am looking at the Bernette b79, and have gone in to ask questions a couple of times, because I need to be certain before making an expensive "hobby" purchase. They have been extremely patient with me. They work on commission; I know this because I asked because I used to work in sales and understand that that is important. I am very grateful and will be purchasing from them... Family will be getting this for me for Christmas. I'm so excited and Christmas cannot get here soon enough. Hee, hee. ..or should I say "Ho, Ho, Ho." -

Shannon Sitek: I bought a new Baby Lock Jubilant machine as a second machine here in Florida. Allen was fantastic at instructing me on all the ins and outs of the machine. The fabric selection is top notch and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great quilting shop!

Timmea Sparks: Nice place didn't have what I needed but they were very helpful.

MK Quilts: what do users think?

Kim Blalock: MK Quilts is awesome! I have a HandiQuilter Amara 20 Longarm quilting machine. I didn't buy it from MK initially, but when I added Prostitcher two years ago I decided to go through MK as I met her at a HandiQuilter function and really liked her. Jump forward to the current year it was time for maintenance. Adam of MK came to Jacksonville to service my machine. I love my machine, but always had problems with thread shredding when I quilted long seams from right to left or bottom to top. The other directions were fine. Based on my reading online I thought it was normal. While Adam was here I mentioned it to him and he said it was not normal and that it should stitch well in all directions. He ended up taking my machine back to the shop in Palm Harbor to nail down the problem. I picked it up yesterday and I am blown away! My machine has NEVER stitched so beautifully!! The stitches are even and well formed and, my biggest problem with the thread shredding is gone! I can stitch in absolutely any direction and the stitches stay perfect. Thank you so much Adam and MK Quilts for your amazing service!!!!!

Rebecca: Wow! This is a great place to find fabric, ideas, or take classes!

Roberta Pressler: I love MKQuilts! Such a great experience in testing and then purchasing my Amara 20 Handiquilter.Installation by Adam was also a breeze.I’m so happy to have found them!

Rebecca Brown: What a wonderful quilt shop! We were visiting from out-of-state and loved the variety of fabric. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We will definitely make this a stop each year.

Cheryl Burck: It is really true that your machine is only as good as your retailer. MK Quilts cares about quilters and the whole experience of owning a HandiQuilter machine. The information I have gotten from MKQUniversity really enhances all the You Tube videos and FaceBook posts of other quilters and inspired me to do more than the e2e that I’ve relied upon for 19 years. My only regret is that it took me this long in my quilting journey to find MK. Loving my Amara 20”

Lyn Morgan: My SIL and I visited this shop yesterday and we both agree it is the best shop in our area. If you are in the Palm Harbor area be sure to stop by. It’s so bright and offers such beautiful fabrics. Classes too!

Lisa Lippert: Got to meet Melissa and her husband. They were super friendly. The shop was smaller than I thought it would be but it had a lot of material and patterns. Not to mention Handi quilter long arms!!

Becky Girard: From purchase to delivery to setup, my experience with MK Quilts has been exceptional. Thank you

Ree (Ree's Treasures): Awesome place with incredible people.

Amy Castrey: This is a very nice quilt shop. They are full service. They have very nice fabric lines and their staff is knowledgeable.

Debbie Brian: when I was having trouble with my long arm machine. Wonderful, wonderful support! With Paul and MK’s help I’ve now upgraded to an Amara20! Lovely shop, but even lovelier people!

Michelle Roth: Frame with 2 secret drawers, and my Handi Quilter Amara 24. Their work is second to none. They communicated thoroughly and often during the purchase and delivery. They arrived promptly as scheduled and worked without breaks until the job was completed and I knew how to load my quilt and get sewing. MK Quilts and the Lopez's treat every customer like family. I wouldn’t buy anywhere else. If you’re in the market for a longarm or to trade up…. Look them up on the web. They are in Florida, but I’m sure they have recommendations in your state too. A great place for all things seeing and quilting including MK University, a quilters learning platform like no other.

Karen Meyer: I purchased my Handi-Quilter Forte from MK Quilts. The Customer service is exceptional. They really go above and beyond. Always ready to assist you if you need help with something. The pricing was right and I have been delighted with my Forte! I highly recommend these folks, great to do business with!

Janet Scanlon: I had a MAJOR computer problem & Paul is THE BEST!! He know exactly what the problem was & it was fixed remotely right away! I tell everyone I know that if you're looking for a new HandiQuilter quilting machine, MK Quilts is the place to purchase! The customer service is the best there is! Thank you again Paul!

James Stephens: The entire process, from inquiring, to ordering, to delivery was as smooth as possible. Great experience. Would highly recommend.

becker: and requested service. The earliest they could schedule service was a month later. After 3 visits over more than two months the tech thought he finally got it right. He didn’t. And he left other items misaligned causing thread shredding and breaking. Three strikes and you’re out. We never called back. Instead, we called Paul at MK quilts and explained our plight. Paul felt compassion for what we had experienced and asked us if we could bring the machine to him two days later on a Saturday. Even though MK quilts is more than 2 hours from us, we were anxious to get back on track, excited that Paul could provide service so soon and thus brought our Amara20 to Paul. MK Quilts outstanding reputation preceded our call to Paul, so we were confident that he would make it right. Not only did he make it right, he treated it as a teaching experience. I learn plenty and am eager to learn more. Paul absolutely knows the workings of HQ machines. From this point on, nobody but MK Quilts will be servicing our Amara20. Our only regret is not knowing about MK Quilts when we bought our Amara20. The level of new machine orientation that MK Quilts performs is reason alone to buy HQ machines from them. The orientation we received on our Amara20 was woeful compared to what MK Quilts does. As an aside, while Paul was spending time with me and our Amara20, my wife had the opportunity to tap into Melissa’s knowledge about quilting, learning what a highly proficient quilter she is with plenty of tricks in her toolbox. All in all, we are so grateful to MK Quilts and thankful that we found them.

Roberta Carter: I had the pleasure of taking a 3 day ProStitcher class from Melissa . She's very talented and I learned so many helpful techniques to make my quilting so much easier!Then.... I had the opportunity to upgrade my HQ Fusion to a brand new HQ Amara 24!! We live in Tennessee, and working with Melissa, Paul and Joyia made the process so easy. They answered all my questions and their support is exceptional! Paul and Melissa have a set up their business to help from sales to stitching and beyond! I highly recommend them is you're interested in anything quilting, even if you don't live in Florida!

Penny Powers: Took advantage of the great prices yesterday, bought ALOT of fabric.....had to wait in line, but was able to do more shopping while I waited my turn....great customer service!! Going back tomorrow for more!!

Lesley Mullen: Jay”s Fabric Center offers a service that has become a rare commodity. The employees are knowledgeable and can answer your questions. They have items that are difficult to find elsewhere.

Dennis hill: Great selection and way better prices

Remy Stevens: What a cool little independent fabric store. I was very lucky to stop by. I had an emergency that only sewing needles could fix. The building is old, and it’s a little dusty, but the folks inside were very kind, and they had a surprising collection of notions.

Brenda Brooks: Big selection

D P: Excellent customer service. So helpful and tons of fabric

Madeline Harris: What an awesome place! Sadly, I found it too late. The staff, the selection, the prices...over the top.

Suzi Tingler: Lots of cool stuff. If you like fabric, you'll love it here!

Fabric Smart: what do users think?

Norma Phelps: Very nice fabric shop

Nadia Bardack: The people who work here and run the shop are beyond helpful and kind. I do wish I lived closer as I would totally support their business. They also have a surprisingly decent variety of fabrics to choose from. So don't miss out, stop and shop here for sure.

Cherie T. Buisson, DVM: This shop is a GEM. So helpful and always remember my name even though I’m not there all that often. Outstanding selection. This is my favorite quilt shop!

A.S. Sak: Nicely laid out and well stocked, very knowledgeable, kind and patient staff!Enjoy shopping local!

Gloria Healey: I had been looking for a piece of "the perfect " fabric for a special little project for a while. I found it here. The owner was so knowledgeable and had such a kind persona. My friends each picked up special piece of fabric,as well!

Jacquelyn Bergmann: Super helpful and very accommodating!

Nicole Webb: Karen, the owner, was an absolute delight to work with when I was overwhelmed with fabric choices. I was picking out fabrics for a quilt for my younger brother, and most quilting fabrics are a little too bright and floral for his taste. She guided me to an Australian pattern that I never would have picked out on my own, but I absolutely love with the coordinating fabric colors she helped me pick out. I love it so much that I plan on paying Karen a visit again soon for more yardage for myself.I'm new to quilting, and Karen was very helpful on my hunt for a quilting pattern that seemed impossible to find. I wanted a pattern for a quilt that was within my skill level that did not use a lot of different color squares. We settled on the "Easy Does It" book that uses three fabrics.By far, the best part of my visit was Karen going above and beyond, helping me calculate the yardage I would need for the quilt. She helped me work out the modifications that I would need to make to enlarge the quilt to the dimensions I need for my little brother's bed size. AND she did a demonstration with pins and scrap fabric of two of the techniques that I would need to know for the quilt. She answered my questions about her preferences on ironing seams. I learned more in my one visit to her shop than I had learned in weeks of reading online materials and youtube. Her teaching background was very apparent. She also showed me the creative designs XL as a solution to my cutting woes. I can not believe how much quicker and easier it is to cut my squares with that ruler mat. So far, all of my cuts have been perfect.Overall, my experience with Fabric Smart was above and beyond what I had expected from a local quilting fabric shop. I can't wait to return for supplies for my next quilting project. If you're a quilter in the area and you're not paying a visit to Karen, then you're missing out.See you sooner than later, Karen!

Apache 2018: great , very friendly place for quilting . very knowledgeable staff.

debbie mark sancranti: I love,Love,LOVE the way they put their kits together. The color choices are second to none. Very helpful without being pushy. I’ve only lived in Florida a few years, but did the big shop hop and I have to say this is right at the top of my list for my favorite shop. Unfortunately it’s not local to me - but we’ll worth the trip!!

Kim Broecker: On vacation from New York and had to check out this quilt shop. Everyone was so friendly and truly interested in helping you find something even something you didn't know you wanted. Great sale going on. I will be back next year.

Judy: Thank you sweet ladies for helping me today at your wonderful shop! ♥️

Melissa Powell: Such a nice store. Beautiful fabric. The best part of that store was the customer service. So nice and professional.

Manuela Moffitt: Beautiful fabrics and friendly shop owner. Stayed open late so that we could shop. Special aboriginal fabrics must see
