Tampa Museum of Art: what do users think?

Derick & Stephanie McElveen: The Tampa Museum of Art is a gem in the city's downtown area, offering a vibrant and authentic experience that's both enriching and inspiring. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted by a dynamic atmosphere buzzing with creativity and inspiration. The museum itself has a diverse collection showcasing a rich tapestry of artistic expressions, spanning across various genres, mediums, and cultures. In fact, each exhibit offers a very unique perspective that includes interactive displays, educational programs, and guided tours. An added benefit is the museum itself is a work of art, with its striking architecture and scenic waterfront location. We strolled through the galleries but really enjoyed the panoramic views of the river. Every moment spent here was a true delight!

Noreta Agus Sasono: So many interesting things inside. Trust me.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

KJ Hillard: Stepping into the Tampa Art Museum is like entering a portal to another dimension where the boundaries of art and reality blur. With its stunning architecture that seamlessly integrates with Tampa’s vibrant waterfront, the museum is a masterpiece in itself. Each gallery is a treasure trove of creativity, showcasing an eclectic mix of ancient artifacts and contemporary pieces that challenge the mind and stir the soul. The 'Life & Death in the Ancient World' exhibit, an immersive journey through the past, left me spellbound. The museum's dedication to fostering a deep appreciation for art in the community is evident through their engaging workshops and artist talks. A visit to the Tampa Art Museum is not just a cultural experience; it's an exhilarating adventure into the heart of artistic innovation.

Ovin Nyakango: Great place along River Walk.

Anthony Giallourakis: Great place to visit for the day! They had quite the variety of art, sculptures, paintings, and other pieces of art.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Michelle Do: Really nice museum to visit while on the area. It has a few outdoor balconies that overlooks the river, and even has benches for you to relax out in the sun. The “ Embellish Me” exhibit is beautiful, and definitely worth the visitVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Santana Family: Took my sister here for her birthday and had a great time. I'm not some artsy guy but looking through all the different exhibits was a great timeVisited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

Nicholas Small: Definitely a nice attraction in the area! The exhibits were really cool, the art was impressive and I especially enjoyed looking at all the art made by local kids, there was some impressive stuff! Make sure to also check out the river walk if you go here 🙂Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Perle C: Very interesting...However, plan a small budget as a family because $25 entry per person + $10 parking right next door...Art is unfortunately not within the reach of all budgets here...Therefore, I am providing you with some photos for those who are interested but cannot get there...In addition, part of the museum was not accessible because they were installing new works...

Tampa Bay History Center: what do users think?

Jennifer Casti: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure

Tracey Sanderson: The Tampa Bay History Center is a good way to get a better understanding of the area. The center discusses the Seminole Indians and the challenges they faced as the area was being settled by Europeans. There were a few other exhibits relevant to the area. Plan to spend a few hours at the center to get the most from the experience.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …

Natalia Spinelli: Great museum full of history! Exhibits are easy to read with plenty to see. Love the living history Saturday. The Columbia cafe that is onsite is a great place to have lunch and then continue exploring their exhibits. They have lots of videos on YouTube, lots of events scheduled and walking tours! This is a very active museum so becoming a member is worth it if you live nearby!

alexa: . its very interactive and fun, but if you do the pirate show, it's only 8 minutes, but I recommend it, but it can be pretty scary for kids because of all the fire and wind. and lastly, the food. the food was SO GOOD!! it was Columbian themed food, so they are all Columbian dishes. i

Amy Helwig: , especially the interactive film, “Pirate’s Fate.” It was fabulous and our adult children “fired a cannon” as part of the interaction. We all felt like kids in that well thought out room , which is also decorated with period pieces to enhance the experience. My only regret was arriving too late to really take in the full experience. I highly recommend this to those who enjoy history!

Katlin F: We always make sure to visit this aquarium when in the area! It’s so fun and neat! Love the splash pad for the littles.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes …

Austin Rohrer: A wonderful aquarium that is a must-visit if you're in Tampa! They have so many unique tanks with a vast array of species. It's very interactive for both adults and children. The staff are incredibly helpful and well-educated about the wildlife. Make it a point to stop here and plan for 4 to 6 hours to see the entire place. Prices for food, gifts, drinks, and more are reasonable and relative to the experience. FAIR WARNING: BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE AS THEY REQUIRE IT IF PAYING WITH CREDIT CARD.

Bud Howard: Very well planned out, the hands on opportunities were extraordinary. It was clean and operating smoothly. I would recommend visiting to anyone with time to visit.

Bonnie Oriol: I'm not quite sure how or why it took me so long to learn about the existence of this place but let me tell you, this is hands down the best Aquarium I've ever been to! Took me daughter and granddaughter yesterday for Mother's Day, and we had such a blast! The Splash pad was absolutely awesome! The exhibits were so clever and really gave you a chance to be up close and personal with the wildlife!Only downside in my opinion, was the cost of parking, but, I paid $20 for valet service which included 3 hours of parking time.Other than that, it was so much fun and we can't wait to go back!! Highly recommend!! Also, buy your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line for them.

Dominga Thomas: Very nice place!

ana ворк: 50% changed to new fishes, corals, etc👍👍👍 compared with 2023. In the cafe very delicious fries and pizza pie!! Very convenient food ordering system. The staff is super friendly! Cary bg: . Security is another factor I had to watch out for. I made sure I had my eyes on the little ones the whole time. Never leave them alone. Even on rides, I watch the whole time and I am with them, the whole time. Kids love to run. Be ready to run. And I always coach parents. stop yelling at your kids because you are tired or impatient. If you are going to Busch for the day, get a good solid 8 hours of sleep the day before or you will be burnt out and a mess. Take vitamins, also. Be prepared to run around. Now to the park itself. They have lots of animals, and shows, and rides. The shows are always great. WE go to as many shows as we can. And ideally you have an older family member or friend watch the little ones so they can run around and go on the different rides. If you manage it well it is fantastic. If you don't mind spending hundreds, and being an exhausted parent then you will have the best outing. Its great for Birthdays. Even older kids. Teens love it. We loved it. The food is okay. Be prepared for high cost water. That really pisses me off that they charge for water. Something you need and they don't let you bring in, that's a rip off and its not okay that they do that. I guess they have to have security. But don't charge $7 or 10. for water. Give me a break. So be prepared for that. And I don't let our kids have too much sugar because that will make them hyper and erratic. Although we love the Funnel cake. So its a gret time but it has its challenges. Have fun.

Michael Kronmann (despair): Best coasters in florida besides maybe seaworld. I will say vilosacoster and mummy will always be im my favorites for florida but busch gardens has so many more coasters and no screens and the price is right
