I can understand short sentences when I read, watch some movie, when People at my work talk to me, I can understand, I think that English language is an exact science like Math, if you know the formula so you know English. It has several exceptions that only I can learn with the practice. It is very common for students to study for 2 years and realize that they already know enough, but when they are faced with day-to-day difficulties, or a job interview, they realize that they need to improve their English. Now I am able to communicate with them when we travel to see them. It is wonderful. The teachers really care about their students and make it fun. The price is very reasonable and has never changed since I started classes 2 years ago. The high tech "talking" pen is amazing and really helps with my pronunciation. The method is very organized and each lesson builds on the next. I promise you will be very happy at this school and learn quickly and in a very fun environment.

Bob King: AMERICAN TESOL INSTITUTE is a great institute for people who wants to improve and gain experience in teaching either at home or abroad. I finished and got my expert certification which includes: Children/Advance/Business with them entirely online in 2014 and currently doing their Teaching with Technology Certification to be completed in 2016.These four courses will surely raise your standard of teaching skills to a higher new level. I highly recommend anyone to take at least three courses including the ATITEC, if you want to update yourself with current teaching skills. ATI teachers and management are very helpful and responsive.

Elliot King: This Learning Center is Great for all levels of people wanting to improve their Spanish Skills. Like most people I took 2 years in HS. When I came here I couldn't speak much Spanish at all .It has been 16 Months and I have been to 3 Spanish Speaking countries and am able to hold conversations and get around with no issue. Small class sizes, and everyone is friendly and eager because we are all in the same level. This class helped me not be afraid to speak Spanish for fear of a bad accent or saying the right words, gave me a community, and allowed me to be more expressive to others. Its not a huge time commitment and not strict on attendance so its great for someone with a lot going on in life. I Highly recommend.
Jim Cornwell: I tried to learn Spanish online starting in 2020. Almost 2 years ago I started going to KS Language Acadmy what a difference. If you want to truly learn Spanish you need to invest the time to attend a class, in my opinion KS is the best. I would suggest calling Marianna Kappler for an an interview, I promise it will be well worth the phone call or appointment. Marianna has a very special talent teaching Spanish.

Scott Poole: I have been trying for years to actually learn Spanish. From Rosetta Stone, to apps on my phone, to self study books. Honestly, I was wasting my time. I have learned more in 6 months with KS Academy than I have in the previous 5 years. This isn't some "learn the 5 phrases you'll need on your trip to Mexico" class. This is vocabulary, grammar, conjugation, conversation and REAL learning. When you are serious, they will be ready for you.

Lyl is very responsive and a natural teacher who placed me at the right level based on my prior exposure to Spanish. We work over zoom which is great for scheduling, and she is always available to give me suggestions about learning outside of class. Spanish Consultants is the one Tampa Bay area company focused on professionals, which is important to me because I am an attorney with a lot of bilingual clients. I highly recommend Lyl Polcanco and her team at Spanish Consultants.

They also reserve a time for learning activities as well such as reading and math. Every Friday they took the kids on field trips and while I was a little anxious the first time sending my 4 year old, I went with them and saw how well they managed the kids! Shelley Ballengee: Everyone there is so nice. They make sure every month to meet with the parents to update the parents on the children progress. They actually really care if everyone is progressing. I'm very happy with the way they treat my son and he is having fun learning at the same time.

We are starting with the Club program and my daughter is coming in 4hrs a week. I can't speak to results of the program yet, as we are still new but she is happy with the instructors she has been paired with and the happy, confident look on her face when I pick her up, makes me feel good about my decision to go with Sylvan. I'll write another review after we have a bit more time in the program.

Her tutors were all wonderful and catered to her strengths and more importantly her weaknesses, the staff was communicative, accommodating and always assisted when we needed things to be flexible with my daughter's busy high school schedule. Overall she raised her ACT composite score 8 total points and was able to achieve a perfect score on one section and one point from perfect on another section. I absolutely would not hesitate to use Huntington again for any educational or test prep needs. Highly recommend!

Every new language learned for me is like acquiring a complete skillset of a new person and Ugarit for sure makes this process worthwhile! She would make you feel like you belong there since the very first day. She rocks! I'd recommend this school to anyone that wants to learn or get better with a certain language. A+++++
Amran Suliman: One of the best educational centers in Tampa. The center has some of the best teachers for many languages. I am currently enrolled in a French class. The staff are very friendly and caring. Over all a very safe and perfect environment for education to all ages.

Melissa H: Dragged my teenager in kicking and screaming to get help with Alg2H after switching schools. The new teacher weighs 80% of their grades to tests... We were both reluctant in the beginning, but after the first session, my son told me it helped and wasn’t as bad as he expected. Now, a few sessions in, we are seeing results with increased test scores, increased grade point average, and it’s helping with test taking confidence… We both grew fond of this place in a short time, and are considering ELA help next. Thanks Mrs. Sandy, and Mr. Rob!

Rob and all teachers are very good with the kids and provide a home like feeling. Oh, by the way, our son's progress is phenomenal.
Jamie Sotelo: We enrolled our son who was struggling in reading comprehension. After 8 weeks we were so impressed with his process that we enrolled our younger son as enrichment! Very personal environment and caring staff.
Carol Francis: My son who has ADHD has been attending Sylvan for about two years. He originally started with the Reading program and has improved so much that he is reading at grade level. He is currently in the Math program and is making good progress. He really enjoys going to Sylvan and using the iPad to learn. He also loves the people. I do too! They care so much for all of the children that they help. I recommend them! I have signed up my stepdaughter for SAT Prep. as well.
Heidi schein: My daughter was struggling in reading so we brought her to Mrs. Sandy. I have to say Mrs. Sandy has the patience of a saint!! Made my daughter feel at home. I say "family" because that is what they make you feel like. Sandy, Rob and all the teachers make you and your child feel at home. My kids love going and when we take a break are always asking when they can go back. It has changed the way my children feel about school and learning. It has given them so much confidence and a love for learning. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done.
