Celine Montcerisier: If I could give Dorca 10 stars I would. I came in panicked over my dress being too big and not the style I wanted. She listened to my vision and executed it beautifully. The jacquard organza was apparently incredibly difficult to alter and she did an amazing job. Also within 8 weeks! And reasonably priced for the work she did. I couldn’t be more thankful. She even let me come by after hours one day to try on my dress again after I was having second thoughts about the alterations we were going to make. Unfortunately the place I bought my dress recommended the larger size to order because while you can go smaller you can’t go bigger. Because of this my dress ended up swallowing me, especially since I lost quite a bit of weight. Luckily my dress was altered to fit me a lot better. Overall I had a good experience and I know if I need anything else altered that I can go here in the future.

M Siew: Dorcas Dressmaking worked a miracle for me. I wanted a VERY custom wedding dress of my own design and first tried a different seamstress who claimed she could do it. After stringing me along for two months, the seamstress abruptly dropped the project due to her inability to create it without a pattern. When I finally found Dorcas, I had only about three months left before my wedding day. Dorca reassured me from the start that the dress would be no problem and ready before my wedding day. I had such little hope at that point from my prior disappointments, but she completed the project marvelously. It was ready 5 days before me wedding and everything was exactly as I envisioned. She is an expert in her craft and needed no pattern to create what I wanted, only an illustration. I can't say enough good things about her and her work. She paid very close attention to detail and made sure everything in the lace pattern was symmetrical and fit perfectly. If you have a dream wedding dress that exists only in your mind, she can bring it to life! She hemmed it, took in the sides, removed a bow, tightened the straps and added cups. She also did a very easy but classic bustle. She altered the dress to fit me perfectly!! Most importantly she hand sewed 60 buttons down the back of my dress. She was up front with the pricing and time frame needed. Love Judy’s tailor and trust her will all my dresses !

She will also give you an honest opinion if it's worth saving. I had a piece that needed a new zipper and she said I'd do better if I bought a new one because the cost of replacing the zipper would be half the value of a new hoodie.

I brought in two longcoats and asked her if she could make pockets for them since they didn't come with pockets. She told me that every coat comes with pockets and showed me quick tricks to unsew the seal, which opened up pockets. Now I can put my hands inside my coat and feel so much more comfy in them. She didn't charge me a dime. She is very skillful and honest. She can at times come off a little more forthright and upfront, but she has no ill intentions and that's just the way she communicates. I highly vouch for this business.

Ryan Gonet: The last place I had taken pants to get hemmed, Quality Plus Cleaners, turned all three pairs of my new jeans into men's bell bottoms, ruining them just before a vacation and charging me a priority fee to do it in under two weeks. I should have gone to Express Alterations. I had seen them but at the time thought they only did dresses and gowns, based on the photos. Nope, they do it all, including the mundane, and at reasonable prices, too. Express did an excellent job on my three pairs of pants, charging $20 for each pair, and they were ready to pick up within the week for no additional cost. The staff were friendly and efficient too. I'll be back for all my tailoring needs and have recommeended them to my family. Thank you!

I recently purchased not one, not two, but five Xsuits - those high-tech athleisure suits that are light, stretchy, and super comfortable. The only problem is they come from the factory horribly fitting. Baggy and long in the pants, boxy and loose in the blazer. Trinh custom tailored each suit perfectly to my body, tapering them tight and fit. This was no easy task because apparently the company glues them together. After removing all of the glue and expertly sewing them back together, I am thrilled with how they look and feel! Thanks again Express Alterations!

Michael Hollier: Kim-my alterations is my go-to for any alterations or dry cleaning. I have a wedding to go to and realized last minute I had a button missing and took it in to her to she if she had time to get it done same day. As busy as she was, she stopped what she was doing and got it done right away and even steamed the shirt as well. Great customer service, hard worker, and is always on time with anything I need to get. If you live in Tampa and are looking to get anything altered or dry-cleaned, look no further as Kim-my Alterations is the best around!!

I was expecting to have to drop it off come back to get it later and when she saw what it was she took the item and ran a couple of rows of stitches through it and gave it back to me and then continued working on what she was before I walked in. Kollet Koulianos: Want high quality custom made clothes?LOOK no further.I was fortunate to tag along with my husband and his colleagues to Ho Chi Minh City, for a work trip they were on.I was tasked with finding a tailor that would be able to make high quality custom tailored clothes, on a tight time line.Trust me, this was no easy task as there are literally tons of custom tailors in this city; but after visiting several, I chose Huong Kim tailor and she and her team were amazing! I had 3 custom made dresses, 4 dress shirts, 2 slacks and a vest, all from pictures of things I like. My husband and his colleagues each had 3 dress shirts done, as well as blazers and a suit! She started on Tuesday and was done with all of it by Thursday afternoon. She even took me to the market to find the perfect fabrics for my dresses!We all said we want to go back and will only work with her when we do!
