C: This is an excellent daycare and VPK resource. The director and all staff are kind, loving, and very attentive to the children's needs. My youngest has been there since she was 3 months old and I have have always felt comfortable bringing her and her older sister to La Petite.I know my children are safe when I drop them off. They accommodate food allergies and provide exceptional care and have very reasonable prices. I cant say enough good things about this team and wouldn't change a thing about my children's care.Thank you to the entire La Petite Team for providing a safe and nurturing environment!!

Vibha Chandra: I had my baby attending this day care for about 8 months - ages 4-12 months and the teachers took wonderful care of her and are very affectionate like a family. Most of the teachers are hispanic but I did not see that coming in the way of how they took care of my baby. They were very kind, flexible and worked with you for any issue you wanted worked out. My baby loved going here!

Julianne Battles: Our family has been with Primrose since 2020, starting in the young toddler class with our then 1 year old. He has learned so much and blossomed into a caring, smart and empathetic 4.5 year old. Our youngest has now joined him and all of the teachers they’ve had have been fantastic. They truly care about the children and love them as their own. They know how to make learning fun! The communication and care from the front office staff are also fantastic. We can’t say enough good things about our experience.

It was very important to me find a great school for my children especially since they were so young and going to daycare. Primrose exceeded all expectation! The staff is absolutely amazing and treats both my kids like their own! They feel so loved every single day!! On top of the love they receive, the education has been first class. Primrose's curriculum as well as the structured routine has helped my oldest transition into Elementary School very easily. I also appreciate the daily updates to include pictures! I always look forward to receiving pictures of my kids and review what they ate, how much they slept, how many diaper changes, etc. Primrose South Tampa has built a community that I feel so blessed and thankful to be apart of. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone!
Corinne Colon: Primrose is the BEST. We absolutely love being a part of the primrose family - our daughter started in the infant room at 10 months and has had the best experience. As new parents we wanted a preschool where our daughter would feel safe, happy, have consistent caregivers and learn new things - Primrose has delivered on that 100%. All of her teachers have been wonderful and the admin staff are all welcoming and know each child's name. We also love the outdoor space - playgrounds and splash pad are so beautiful and well thought out for the kids.
Bianca: As a previous co-worker of Primrose, it is easy to say that this is by far a very safe and enriching environment for your babies. All staff are trained and are aware of early-childhood learning strategies. Management is friendly and teachers are accomodating and mindful of childrens specific needs. This is a very professional daycare and is the best place to start your childs early education.
Maranda Dosal: As an elementary educator, I knew Primrose would be the best fit for my boys’ learning and development in their early years. We have had the best experience with PSST. Our boys have shown so much growth emotionally, physically and intellectually throughout their years at PSST. I rest easy knowing the staff and teachers are working side by side, with us, to provide the best for our children.

evelio otero: I don't have words to define the magnificent experience for our child for the last 3 years. The campus is the most impressive orderly and beautiful we have seen. The classrooms are driven by all children things and pedagogical on the spot. The vast majority of the teachers are very loving and the ratio of teachers to students ensures wonderful learning. Our son loves his school. Personally we couldn't be more delighted.

Clover: Ok, finding a preschool for your child is a pretty daunting task. Primrose was the first school that I went to for a tour and they had only been open a year and it was so neat, clean, orderly, adorable and cute. I can tell you that seven years later it is still the exact same inside as far as the school in the physical sense. Both of my children went there, my daughter for two years and my son for one and that is only because of Covid or he would’ve been there two years as well. So, the school is pretty great. Is it perfect? No, but no school is. I have to say it’s pretty close though. The teachers love the kids and they try so hard. The level of caring that the teachers give the children is something I haven’t seen at any other school. My child is in Phillips/Muccio/Fabian‘s class. Those teachers work tirelessly and truly have love for the kids. The amount of activities they do with the kids is amazing. Sometimes I can’t believe everything they have the kids do! It is worth every penny in my opinion. Your children will be cared for, safe, and not only that, very stimulated.

Communication from the management has also been great and they have handled Covid very well. The only thing I would change would be smaller classes, but of course they are within the state requirements for the student teacher ratio.

The administrative and front staff are caring, warm, and dedicated to meeting the needs of you and your child. They are responsive to your needs in a timely manner. The team keeps you up to date on your child and their progress in their class. They treat you like you are part of their family. The teachers take time to speak with you and share how your child's day went. You are offered with suggestions that would help enhance your child's learning and classroom interaction. Everyone that you come in contact with treat you with respect. Shout out to Chef V for looking out for our kids and their nutrition! I feel great knowing that my son is in excellent hands with his teachers and Primrose staff!

Mina S: As a parent I would like to congratulate Mrs Patricia as the new director here, my child tells me of all the fun they have here. I would like to point out this school does not tolerate misbehavior and the environment is kept child appropriate. My child, a schooler, brought to my attention a boy would say inappropriate things and make rude comments to the teachers such as "what are you looking at" or " ha ha I'm eating a weiner, look" I brought it to the directors attention and asked how old this child was to be making inuendos, she assured me she was actively working on this issue. That child is no longer there now. I have seen a great change in this school from its previous director, my child is given respect & love with a splash of education. This is a day SCHOOL, for those that want ur school age child to just fade in the background and not be given individual attention and run around all day outside to get tired this is not the school for you. My child is happy here, don't believe the disgruntled reviews.

Shayla T: I absolutely love Children's Nest of Hyde Park. I come from a family of educators. My mother has owned a daycare center for over 25 years and we also have a private school. After moving to Tampa, I was so hesitant to put my son in a VPK program as he had always been at our family's daycare center. His father and I even contemplated allowing him to stay in our hometown so that he could continue at my mother's daycare center but we didn't want to separate him from our older son. Luckily, we found Children's Nest. I love the staff there. I mostly interact with Ms. Patricia, Ms. Wanda, and my sons teacher, Ms. Linda. They're so warm and inviting. Most importantly, my child loves it there. I have read the other reviews and being in this field, opinions are overtly subjective. If you really want to know how something will fit into your life, try it for yourself.

As an employee, I hope to provide truthful and insightful feedback as to how this school and its programming function. I have worked as a teacher for the past eight years and believe that sharing my experiences may help a family provide their child with the most fitting education. In my opinion, Children’s Nest Hyde Park is a wonderful school. The students and teachers are so loving and it is a true family setting. The teachers have an awesome rapport and are constantly working together for the betterment of each child. Each room is a stepping stone to the next, all in preparation for a successful future. It is so imperative for growth and development to have such great cohesion. The goal is to nurture and educate each child to their full potential. The curriculum is engaging, fun, and thought provoking and each child is encouraged to learn at their own pace. There is a multitude of extracurriculars for the children to engage in, such as soccer, dance, tumbling and weekly activities/events. The director, Ms. Patricia, is an absolute wonder to work for and with. She cares deeply for the children and teachers alike. Her kind and professional demeanor makes for a great structure to the school. I would most definitely send my children here and truly enjoy working here!

Haley Carge: When we moved here one year ago, we did not really know anyone in the area and had not yet decided where we were going to enroll him. I had initially considered a different Children’s Nest location, but then switched to Hyde Park location. I was nervous and uncertain being new to Tampa. Children’s Nest ended up being a very unexpected blessing.Watching our son grow and develop learning and social skills along the way has been a joy. He is always happy to go to school, which also makes me happy. He has loved his teachers—Mrs. Patricia, Mrs. Linda, and Mrs Wanda. Because of that positive, loving trusting bond that he developed with them learning has been fun and easy for him. They helped to identify some of his weaknesses and suggested things to do at home to help him specifically in these areas. As a result, his VPK testing scores were great! He takes great pride in the work he brings home to share with us as well as the homework and learning tasks he needs to do. These ladies have certainly made learning fun, which has produced many positive results.When Mrs, Patricia took over as director, she did a wonderful job communicating with parents, especially when it came to daily events, field trips, and upcoming events. I always felt prepared. I also think the teacher/student ratio of 1 to 10 has been beneficial to my son's learning, and level of confidence. He also enjoyed the weekly extracurriculars that were made available to us including soccer and tumble bugs.As we prepare to leave the Tampa area, we will sincerely miss Children’s Nest, the wonderful teachers, and friends that we made. I would recommend this learning facility to anyone looking for a group of genuine caring and loving teachers, who will also challenge your child to learn and grow educationally and socially.
Leah Smith: . They do art, learning letters and numbers, and outdoor activities. I also love that the ones class has 5-6 kids to one teacher vs other schools that pack 12 toddlers in with 2 teachers. Even though the ratio is the same, the smaller class is so much better.
Anja Dailey: My little one has been attending for about 3 months. This center offers the VPK program and I can see the exponential growth in my little one's vocabulary, counting and writing skills. There are also amazing additional activities at this location for soccer and gymnastics which is simply amazing and all occur during the day. So convenient for working families with tight schedules. Miss Linda is very patient and kind, the afternoon staff are very friendly , honestly all the staff have been friendly and great to work with. Miss Wallie has a great team! We are planning on staying for afterschool care once the VPK program finishes.

audrie: The difference made in my child's life is notorious. Bright Horizons Tampa Palms's teaching strategies methods and strategies are a blessing, especially with their school-age program.
Karla L: Amazing daycare! Our baby loves the teachers Ms. Cathy, Ms. Kate, Ms. Maria,. Kristie and Ms. Nettia. I like the fact that there is a maximum of 8 infants per class, and they can play diversified activities with my baby! The app My Brigth Day is great and provides us many updates during the day. I strong recommend Bright Horizons at Tampa Palms.

Alicea Hotchkiss: We needed to move our son to a new daycare after an extremely negative experience at his previous center. Bright Horizons Tampa Palms was super highly recommended, so we put him on the wait list. We were very fortunate that it only took about a month to get him into the center, and we are completely amazed at his progress since starting! He was very speech delayed due to Covid, and we were struggling to potty train outside the house. He's been enrolled just under 2 months and his language skills have improved massively, and he is fully potty trained! His teacher Ms. Maria and all of the staff has been incredibly supportive and kind. The communication from the center is excellent, and we were notified right away any time there was a chance he may have come in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid while it's been so crazy contagious with this variant, and their processes were very thorough to help us feel safe. We are so thrilled to be a part of the Bright Horizons family!
Michelle Chettiath: Bright Horizons at Tampa Palms is the first daycare we sent our 1 year old to and I couldn’t have asked for a better one! Ms. Olivia, the Health and Safety Director, is friendly, professional, and wonderful with the kids. The facility itself is clean and safe - lots of room inside and out for the kids to play and explore. Ms. Cristy, the Center Director, is easy to reach and spends time with the teachers and kids, which I really appreciate. I love that parents get pictures and updates throughout the day on the MyBrightDay app. My son is in the toddler room and his teachers are Ms. Brooks, Ms. Cathy, Ms. Lauren, and Ms. Christy. All wonderful! Watching him walk into the classroom, wash his hands, and sit down for breakfast in the morning, is so sweet. Occasionally, he does have hard drop-offs, but Ms. Brooks is always there to comfort him. I cannot recommend Bright Horizons more!

But what truly brought it home for me is when they called my child's grandfather by the name she calls him "dadaji" and not just grandpa. That kind of thought and sensitivity to inclusion of other cultures is what sets apart this place from ALL the other daycares we interviewed. I can't recommend this place and all the lovely staff members enough! They are truly just above 5 stars!

When I was looking for a childcare solution I toured many facilities, and the moment I walked into Bright Horizons Tampa Palms, I immediately felt at ease that this is where my son belonged, and I was right!The teachers genuinely care about my son, and have even gone out of their way to give me a call and check on him over a weekend if he hadn't been feeling well the day before. We've worked together to determine consistent strategies for helping him though every developmental stage along the way, which has been much appreciated by this first-time mom that didn't know what to do about the stages of biting, hitting, etc. that all kids go through.When my son goes to kindergarten in the fall, I will greatly miss seeing our Bright Horizons "family" on a regular basis!

Our daughter attended the daycare until we moved out of state. During the current pandemic, the owner has been understanding of parents' concerns and has actively communicated information about how the daycare would protect the children. Furthermore, the staff is friendly, and I never had to leave work for frivolous requests.

Emily Rodemoyer: My daughter started going to Creative World about 2 months ago. It has been amazing to see how quickly she is learning new skills since joining Ms. Amarilis’s infant class. As a parent, I love that I get updates on an app throughout the day so I always know how she is doing. Everyone has been so welcoming and I really feel like my daughter is cared for by not only Ms. Amarilis but all the adults that work in the school.

Stephanie Ramos: My two kids started there about a month ago. It was a rough start, they really needed help with getting things organized, better communication with the parents and permanent staff. Now that Pam works there I have seen such great improvement in the areas that were lacking. Her ability to problem solve is impeccable. The classrooms are large, filled with toys and activities and clean. I see improvements everyday, and there is no better place see improvements than an education center. I'm very happy my kids are here!
Brooke Deen: I can’t say enough great things about this place. Initially, we we’re trying to enroll our child in pre-k at the elementary school he will attend next year for kindergarten. We were put on the waitlist. We were waitlisted at ALL our local elementary schools and I was so sad and worried he would not get in anywhere. This lead me to creating a post on my social media and mommy groups asking for recommendations.Creative World was recommended to me by a few people. We went and checked it out and my child LOVED the atmosphere. The place is beautifully decorated and more importantly, IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Furthermore, I was impressed with the qualifications of the teachers and their warm and friendly personalities/demeanor. The staff are helpful and I’ve come to really look forward to seeing them at drop off in the mornings.My little one has attended for about 6 months now. He absolutely ADORES his teacher, running up to give her a hug or high five every morning.Y’all, he flaps his little arms and bounces in anticipation as I log/check him in… he can’t wait to get through that door! Frankly, I’m a little worried he will be sad when it’s time to go to elementary school.He has learned SO much. They teach writing, math, science, and art incorporating fun and excitement. And while he’s always been a good kid, his behavior has also improved.Another thing I love about this place is their app. On my child account, I go in and see pictures of my child’s day including what the children are learning about that week. This helps me determine what I work on at home with him to reinforce learning concepts.We did get a call regarding an opening at one of the schools we were waitlisted on, but I declined. We were also going to transfer him to the Creative World closer to our home on Cross Creek, but decided to keep him at this location. I’m sure the other location are just as clean and welcoming, but this place is “it” for us. I’m so happy we landed here.

Mia really liked everything and woke up every day with the desire to quickly go to camp. The weekly trips were fantastic and the child really enjoyed them. I also really liked using the Procare application to always be in touch with the teacher. Also a big thank you to Miss Jessica, she is truly a very wonderful teacher.
Sarah Muehleman: Our 1yo daughter had been attending Carlton for the last 8 months and we love it! The teachers are warm and nurturing. I appreciate the smaller class sizes; within the first couple months when walking down the hall teachers from other classrooms that I didn't necessarily recognize knew my daughter by name. I feel she is safe, cared for, and best of all they know, understand, and appreciate who she is as a tiny little person. The price is fair for the area and management is pleasant to work with too so giving all five stars!

I was so hesitant to start daycare and postponed our start date initially, but am so happy we enrolled. Our teacher Mrs. Maria is the absolute best and she put me at ease the very first day. I’m impressed by the sensory activities even the infants participate in and the care of the staff. They genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs, support each other for adequate break time, and are all pleasant and know our child’s name. I appreciate they divide the infant room into two ages vs putting all under 1 year in the same room as many other daycares in the area do. Such a great, convenient option for those who work or live near downtown.

Sandy Rannenberg: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Carlton Academy has been the absolute best for our son, and bonus it’s only a 1 mile walk each way and a beautiful morning walk down the path from Harbour Island! He’s been attending since he was 6 weeks old which was really hard on a brand new mom, but Ms. Maria made us feel so comfortable leaving him there and provided so many updates/pictures throughout the day, and she also sent home the cutest artwork! He then moved to Ms. Catherine and Ms. Becca at 6 months old and they were equally amazing! They were so understanding of all of my new mom questions/concerns and also provided constant updates via the Procare app to ease my mind. He is now in the 1 year old class with Ms. Krystal and again I can’t rave about this school enough! The education he is receiving is outstanding and all of the staff in the front office and all of the teachers have been equally helpful and understanding so I have no concerns when I leave him there everyday. He is always so happy playing when we sneak a peek at him at pickup and he’s always happy when we drop him off, so I know he’s being well taken care of which helps working parents to feel comfort while they’re trying to provide a living. I highly recommend Carlton Academy especially if you’re in the Downtown/Channelside area!

We started at 7 mo in the infant room and finished at the preschool. They do a great job facilitating developmental milestones and providing age appropriate learning opportunities. They also have a great summer program with lots of special activities planned each week. My kids still say they miss Suncoast! I really liked that it’s a smaller daycare because we felt like we knew most of the staff and many of the kids/parents. We still get together with our “Suncoast friends”. Thank you Suncoast!

I have a 5 year-old son who has been attending for over 3 years and my 3 year-old daughter has been attending for a year. It’s one of the few places I can say I feel so comforted when they are there because I know they are in loving hands. The school is always keeping me informed and always readily available to answer any questions. I see so much improvement in their learning. The teachers, staff and owner are all WONDERFUL! The teachers communicate daily on my children’s progress. I get to hear about their day on the drive home which is so nice. Mrs. Chris, Mrs. Sanchez and all the teachers go above and beyond. Even to the extent of giving requested guidance to help me in my parenting with my kids learning how to adjust to different situations that arise as they are growing.In addition, during this past year’s health concerns they handled everything so professionally. Giving us many options to choose from and they were extremely accommodating with our decisions. The social distancing, requiring masks, over cleanliness has all been exceptional. I have had no issues at all this past year regarding my kids and getting sick.Suncoast Academy is Amazing! Thank you for all that you do for my children!

Layne Spotts: For over three decades, Suncoast Academy has been providing excellent, nurturing childcare in south Tampa. My son has been there since he was an infant, and is now in the preschool. He has learned so much academically, grown socially, and become independent in many ways with life skills. He is happy to go to school with his teachers and friends every single day. They're currently working on national certification, proving their drive for growth and positive goals towards even better education for the future of the children for whom they care. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have been absolutely impeccable about safety and I am confident they will continue to do everything in their power to keep my son and all the children and staff as safe as possible.
