The center discusses the Seminole Indians and the challenges they faced as the area was being settled by Europeans. There were a few other exhibits relevant to the area. Natalia Spinelli: Great museum full of history! Exhibits are easy to read with plenty to see. Love the living history Saturday. The Columbia cafe that is onsite is a great place to have lunch and then continue exploring their exhibits. They have lots of videos on YouTube, lots of events scheduled and walking tours! This is a very active museum so becoming a member is worth it if you live nearby!

Amy Helwig: , especially the interactive film, “Pirate’s Fate.” It was fabulous and our adult children “fired a cannon” as part of the interaction. We all felt like kids in that well thought out room , which is also decorated with period pieces to enhance the experience. My only regret was arriving too late to really take in the full experience. I highly recommend this to those who enjoy history!

Kelsey Smith: I walked their bobcat, otter, and eagle trails yesterday, each under one mile. Paths were mostly dirt but well maintained. My favorite was the eagle trail, which had a nice boardwalk with mangroves and a fishing spot. There's not a ton of shade, and there are dirt paths to get to the boardwalks. I enjoyed it, but would prefer something with more distance and a little more shade.

Martin: trails that show off some of the different landscapes, including a variety trees, plants and the chance to see some wildlife.The park borders up against Mobbly Bay, which ultimately connects up with Old Tampa Bay... almost like a bay within a bay.
