John Tibbetts: This is my favorite place in Tampa. Not only do they have a great selection of rare and classical books, but they are basically giving them away with these prices. Frank has great stories and his wife has an eye for antiques as well. Every time I pass by, I have to stop in for another story or another five dollar book. Looking forward to my next trip to Tampa so I can see what else has been unleashed.

Information Maven: A visit to this store demonstrated they have outstanding pieces of excellent quality. 5 stars. Prices and attention from the shopkeeper are all perspective. Almost everything in the shop is now unique because you will be hard pressed to find another of anything so the prices are appropriate for quality and scarcity. Better buy it when you see it or you risk losing a treasure!

Leslie Green: I just love Gaslight Antiques! My husband is very hard to shop for and he likes quirky things that have history. I know if I need to purchase him a gift, I can find him something at Gaslight. I have purchased several items that he has very much appreciated! Several "trench art" pieces. A cigar store Indian and several other items. I could spend hours looking at all of their beautiful items. Sure, some items are very expensive, but people have to understand these are not pieces of fast furniture you purchase at rooms to go. The sell quality antiques, so of course they are pricier than the run of the mill furniture store. The owners are kind and helpful. I have had many meaningful conversations with them. I look forward to my next trip to South Tampa to pay them a visit!

Incredible , quality items of all sorts and the owner Evangeline was so kind and helpful without being intrusive. The poor reviews are either from people who don’t know true quality antiques or expect yard sale prices . This isn’t a shop you’d take small children to as the items are too tempting and it’s not the space for children . We will definitely be back 💜

Mary Thompson: Now this is how you run a shop! Family owned and operated. Friendly staff. Not pushy. Reasonably priced. Lots of variety. Resale items are clean and in good condition. It's like all the best items you go thrifting for, all in one place. If you dont see what youre looking for, ask...becuase they may have it somewhere and there's many more treasures to come! I was highly impressed. They do sell new, trendy/fun stuff too! Jewelry selection is off the hook-very nice, orginal/rare looking pieces. All around, I will continue to revisit Rustic Love-and spread the love! Great job guys!
Jamie Frederick: This is a hidden gem. On North Dale Mabry in the corner of a small shopping center, you’d never know it was there but it’s really worth a visit. Lots of beautiful vintage and antique pieces including an amazing collection of vintage cookie jars, beautiful art, Lladro, etc. They have something for everyone. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home, too!

She carries the full line of DixieBelle paint as well as transfers, molds etc. Her customer service is A plus. Patricia: I was looking for a specific broach I purchased at another Catholic gift shop last year but found out it was discontinued. I went to this gift shop to see what they had available. What a surprise this place was. It has some of the most inspirational gifts and the women who were working there were so nice and so helpful. I was able to find a couple of broaches there that I absolutely love I plan to give them as gifts for my daughter’s CCD teacher and assistant teacher for Christmas. The Catholic Church sits next to the gift shop. I didn’t get to go inside because mass was going on but I hear it’s so pretty inside. I will definitely go back to this shop and to the church. The gift shop is only open certain hours of the week so make sure you check the times they are open before going. Also you either have to use street parking which is challenging in downtown Tampa or there is a garage you can park in next to it for a fee.

Lucky Cat Yoga Studio and Wellness Center: Green Shift is a unique small business in the heart of Seminole heights that sells, comics, graphic novels, used speakers, record players, instruments, records, DVDs, cassettes and even 8 tracks tapes! You can get your instruments restrung or buy your strings there. They used to have a dude you could take guitar lessons from, but not sure if they still do it since they relocated a few years ago. We've been going to this place since 2012 and they have always been kind, honest, and helpful.

Shinaya: have been twice so far! We live a couple hours away from Tampa/Ybor but it is definitely worth the trip. The shop itself is a haven if you have an appreciation for all things weird like we do. The owner is also the coolest chick ever and part of the awesome experience 🤘 Can't wait for our next trip in a few months.PS: if you're not into this stuff
Distinct: It's definitely an oddity. This shop was definitely a unique experience. The staff was down to earth and very friendly. They answered all the questions we had. Be aware that there are items there that may disturb some. This is not your typical antique store. It was interesting to see just how many different items they have for display. If you have a chance, definitely give the museum a shot. Make sure to donate if possible!

theo: I definitely would have been interested in the type of taxidermy here, as it's not the usual standard - tens of super creative pieces line the walls and shelves. the old signage and unique artifacts add such a great style to this place, and I think the prices were very reasonable too. Steven Navarro: Dysfunctional Grace is a absolutely wonderful eclectic and non traditional store with a vast assortment of literature and artwork with a steampunk and Victorian Goth feel mixed with a Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. Liz the owner has the uncanny ability to find some truly interesting pieces. They also have a fair collection of decals and antique smut that will leave just about anyone feeling nostalgic. If you enjoy gaffes or antique taxidermy, this place should be on your list.
